Welcome to Katapult!In this guide you will find the installation instructions for the Katapult plugin for WooCommerce. Installation is 8 quick steps and should take less than 10 minutes to complete.

What materials are needed:• Admin access to the stage environment where you intend to test Katapult as a payment option• Katapult sandbox tokens, provided in the integration onboarding email.

What this installation doesn’t do:This guide will install Katapult as a payment option in your cart. You will still need to market Katapult on your page to increase program awareness and promote conversions. You will find a link to our merchandising guide and a few best practices for updating your WooCommerce shop.

Step 1. Log in to your Wordpress admin portalStep 2. Once in your portal go to plugins and select the ‘Add New’ Button. Step 3. Select the ‘Upload Plugin’ button and choose the Katapult.zip file provided to you. it is important that you do not rename this file, this will cause the upload to fail. Step 4. You should now see the message 'Plugin installed successfully'. Click the 'Activate Plugin' button below itStep 5. Go to ‘WooCommerce’ and select ‘Settings’Step 6. Go to the ‘Payments’ tab Step 7. Find Katapult & hit manageStep 8. Update details• Enable Katapult – check• Environment - https://sandbox.katapult.com/• Private API Key – Provided to you in your integration onboarding email• Public API Key – Provided to you in your integration onboarding email• Minimum Order total - Value provided in your integration onboarding email • Maximum order total - $4500.00

Leasable and Non leasable items

We ask that our merchants mark the appropriate items as leasable during setup. We still allow customers to checkout with leasable and non leasable items. However they must pay for non leasable items in full at the time of checkout, don’t worry we’ll take care of the taxes and the payment. For this to to happen you must update your product attributes as leasable. Not sure which items are leasable? Look at our merchant guide of a list of non leasable items or reach out to us directly at integrations@katapult.com.

Updating Attributes

To update an item as leasable go to Products > find the product(s) that is leasable >go to edit > Go to General product data >check ‘Leasable with Katapult’ > and update.
