TENSION9 sts and 14 rows to 10cm over stocking st, using 9mm needles.To work a tension square, using 9mm needles, cast on 14 sts.Work 20 rows stocking st. SHAPE ARMHOLES –Cast off 3 (4-4-5-6) sts at beg of next 2 rows … 39 (41-45-49-51) sts.Dec one st at each end of next row, then in every foll alt row until 31 (33-35-37-39) sts rem.Work 19 (21-21-21-23) rows stocking st.

SHAPE BACK NECK –Next row – K11 (12-12-13-13), cast off next 9 (9-11-11-13) sts, knit to end.Cont on these 11 (12-12-13-13) sts for left side of back neck.Dec one st at neck edge in next 2 rows … 9 (10-10-11-11) sts.

SHAPE SHOULDER –Next row – Cast off 4 (4-4-5-5) sts, purl to last 2 sts, P2tog.Work 1 row.Cast off rem 4 (5-5-5-5) sts.With wrong side facing, join yarn to rem 11 (12-12-13-13) sts for right side of back neck and work as folls – P2tog, purl to end … 10 (11-11-12-12) sts.
