During a long time already, modern technologies enable us to see the first ultrasound images of the unborn baby not only in 2D but also in holistic 3D.

We can add the next dimension! Using the novel opportunities offered by 3D printing, now it is possible to create a precise copy of the baby in a form of a figurine. The figurine looks exactly the same as the little citizen of the world who is still hidden in mother’s womb.

For ClinicsHelping and instructing the future parents during the time of pregnancy creates an extraordinary and trustful relationship between them and the medical institutions. In this relationship are shared the most special and intimate experiences.

We offer the clinics providing 3D-ultrasound service the opportunity to render their customers a service that is even more personalised.

We use the 3D ultrasound data to 3D print figurines of unborn babies. The figurines are very similar to the actual file generated by a 3D ultrasound machine.

For doctors or technicians the 3D scanning process is exactly the same, all they have to do is to send us a volumetric file, we will handle the rest of the process.

This is how the everyday process looks like:

ContractFor the safety of our partners, we sign a NDA or CA type of contract to ensure that your data is safe with us. We take full responsibility for safekeeping the files you send us and we guarantee that they cannot be accessed by any third parties.

FilesFor secure file sharing, we use box.com environment. We will make you a special folder that only you and us are able to access. All you need to do is to drop the file into your personal folder.

3D printingWe use a full-colour industrial 3D printer to create the figurines. We do not paint them – they come out of the printer in their final form.

All you need for becoming our partner and starting offering 3D printed unborn baby service is a 3D ultrasound machine. You do not need to purchase any additional equipment or software. We use the files that are automatically created and exported by your current equipment.

For 3D figurine printing, we would need a volumetric ultrasound file. The actual file name and format might be different depending on the manufacturer of the equipment. The important thing is - the file has to be a collection of all the layers in the model, not just a 2D image file. The file has to be in the cartesian format (you can select it while exporting it from the machine).

About usWolfprint 3D is a 3D printing company located in Tallinn, Estonia. We are a team of young and passionate entrepreneurs wanting to make a change. We started out as a 3D service company in the region, quickly getting involved with several different 3D-related projects.

After some time in the business, our friend’s wife got pregnant and the idea that we could print the 3D figurines of unborn babies came to us. We started to think seriously about it and the more we found out about the potential benefits of the product, the more excited about it we got. We decided to develop a solution that would make it all possible.

Our goal is to help soon-to-be-mothers remember this magical time in their life as something positive. Pregnant women make many visits to doctors who weigh and measure them, conduct a lot of tests, etc. All of it makes women anxious instead of making them happy. In cooperation with 3D ultrasound we are trying to give them positive emotions and memories of the time of their life. We want to make them even more excited about having a child and make it easier to bond with the babies even before they are born.

In Wolfprint 3D, we always strive towards improving ourselves, offering a better service and tackling new challenges.
