From our fi rst guide in May, created in in the freezing cold spare room at Toby’s house; through our Spring issues brought to you from a disused shed in a boatyard; to our latter efforts from a swanky offi ce at Krowji in Redruth, we have certainly been on a fairly steep learning curve!

We expect to print over 150,000 guides in 2015, giving us a readership of about half a million. The What’s on Cornwall website will also be used by well over that amount; that’s a total reach of over a million event goers!

Kathak Indian dance style has a strong improvisational quality between the dancers and musicians which is amazing to watch. Bharatanatyam form originates from the state of Tamil Nadu inspired by the sculptures of ancient temples.

Sonia Sabri (Kathak) and Ash Mukherjee (Bharatanatyam). Inspired by Woody Allen’s brilliant a one-act play ‘Death Knocks’. The piece also features four solo pieces and a post-show discussion.

Researching the hidden depths with the latest technology; her work reveals the complexity and strangeness of the unseen world beneath. Revealing sounds from hidden sources, both inaudible to the human senses and from places and creatures difficult to access.

Wilkie Collins, author of victorian thriller ’The Woman in White’ came to Cornwall in 1850. Hoping to make his name as a writer, Collins commenced a walking-for-pleasure tour, which resulted in his book, ‘Rambles Beyond Railways’. Using words, music and film, Jak Stringer retraces his footsteps, bringing the intriguing and humorous stories from this forgotten book alive once more.
