CLOSE Switch: At the Movies Week 1: Jurassic World The Point Be who God created you to be. Close Do you really believe that about yourself today—that you’re really God’s masterpiece created for His purpose. It can be so easy for us to focus on who we’re not instead of who we are, who God created us to be. But we need to understand this ... we are God’s masterpiece. We have worth, value, and a purpose here on this earth. We just heard Ephesians 2:10, which says: God has made us what we are. In Christ Jesus, God made us to do good works, which God planned in advance for us to live our lives doing. God has a plan and purpose for your life, and He has made you who you are. It’s time for you to realize that He has given you everything you need to do what He wants you to do. So with your eyes closed and heads bowed, I want to lead you through a couple of prayers for where you are right now. Eyes closed and heads bowed. If you have a hard time feeling like you’re God’s masterpiece and you don’t know if you really have a purpose, then in boldness just raise your hand right now and let me pray for you. (Pray for the students that God will show them who they are and who He has made them to be. Pray they’ll realize they’re His masterpiece.) Now if you realized tonight that you know God has a purpose and a plan for your life and a work that He wants for you to do— and you want to start to live that out moving forward—lift up your hand. (Pray for the students that they’ll live out the purpose and plan God has for them with boldness and perseverance.) Maybe tonight you never before viewed yourself as God’s masterpiece, and now you’ve realized that you are. Maybe for the first time you finally feel like you matter to God, and you know that He has a plan and purpose for your life. If for the first time you want to start living for God and know that you are forgiven—and you want to move forward in that life—hold up your hands right now and repeat this prayer after me ... (Have students repeat the prayer after you to receive Jesus in their lives and to begin to live for Him.)

The Point Be who God created you to be.

Pray they’ll realize they’re His masterpiece.)

Now if you realized tonight that you know God has a purpose and a plan for your life and a work that He wants for you to do—and you want to start to live that out moving forward—lift up your hand.

(Pray for the students that they’ll live out the purpose and plan God has for them with boldness and perseverance.)

Maybe tonight you never before viewed yourself as God’s masterpiece, and now you’ve realized that you are.
