To make your visit safe and enjoyable, please follow these rules:•Do not leave any equipment unattended.•Please park in the parking lots for winter activities.•Report any injuries to the Park Police or the Park Office.•Snowmobiles are prohibited.•No pets allowed on cross-country ski trails.

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIINGThe Ski Center is located at the Golf Clubhouse. Rental equipment is available during the weekends and holidays for park use only. There are no downhill facilities.•Please use only marked ski trails.•Skiing is prohibited on nature trails, toboggan runs, sledding and

snowboarding hills, and golf course greens.•Ski rental hours: Weekends & Holidays, 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

SKI EQUIPMENT RENTALHalf-Day Rates (4 hours or less):

A special group rate is available on weekdays by reservation only.

HIKE-BIKE TRAILThe 8.5-mile hike-bike trail is kept clear of snow. Some portions of the trail are not salted due to protected natural resources. The trail is cleared after roads, lots and sidewalks. Trail hours are from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. For current conditions call the Park Office or check our website.

ICE FISHINGIce fishing is available on Kent and Wildwing lakes in designated areas. A valid Michigan Fishing License or Sportsperson’s License is required. Shanties must be registered (no charge) with the Park Office if they are to be left overnight. Shanties must comply with all Michigan regulations and are to be removed before the ice becomes unsafe or by March 1. Fishing is prohibited in ice skating areas.

ICE SK ATINGIce skating is located near the Boat Rental Building, which offers a lounge and restrooms. There is no skate rental.

SLEDDING, SNOWBOARDING & TOBOGGANINGThe toboggan runs, sledding hills and beginner snowboarding hill are located at the Orchard Picnic Area.•Please walk up designated returns only, and be cautious of others using

the runs and hills.•Saucers and inflatables are prohibited on advanced and intermediate hills.•Toboggans must be standard toboggans with attached padding on the seat.•Hours: Weekdays 11 a.m. – dusk, Weekends 10 a.m. – dusk
