A POEM

While felicitating the newly elected Hon’ble Speaker, Shri Om Birla on

19.06.2019, Shri Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury while recited the following poems:

“वो ही राम जो दशरथ का बेटा,

वो ही राम जो घर-घर में लटेा,

वो ही राम जगत पसेरा,

वो ही राम सबसे न्यारा ।”

दूसरी तरफ यह भी कहते हैं:

“ला इलाह इल्ललललाह मोहम्मद उर रसूललुलाह ।”

सर, हमें इस तरह का समाज बनाना चाल्हए:-

“जब मलुला को मल्जजद में राम नज़र आए,

जब पजुारी को मल्न्दर में रहमान नज़र आए,

दलु्नया की सूरत बदल जाएगी,

जब इंसान को इंसान में इंसान नजर आए ।”

On hearing this, there was thumping of desks from all sections of the House.

“खदुा से क्या मांगूं तेर ेवाजते,

सदा खलु्शयों से भर ेहो तेर ेराजते,

हंसी तेर ेचेहर ेपर रहे इस तरह,

खशुबू फूलों के साथ रहती है ल्जस तरह ।”

19.06.2019, Shri Ramdas Athawale while concluding his speech recited the

following poem:-

“एक देश का नाम है, रोम, लेल्कन लोक सभा के अध्यक्ष बन गए हैं, ल्बरला ओम ।

लोक सभा का आपको अच्छी तरह चलाना है काम,

वेल में आने वालों का ब्लैक ल्लजट में डालना है, नाम ।

नरने्र मोदी जी और आपका ल्दल है ल्वशाल, राहुल जी आप अब रहो खशुहाल ।

हम सब ल्मलकर हाथ में लेते हैं एकता की मशाल और भारत को बनाते हैं और भी ल्वशाल ।

आपका राज्य है राजजथान, लेल्कन लोक सभा की आप बन गए हैं, जान ।

भारत की हमें बढ़ानी है शान, लोक सभा चलाने के ल्लए आप जैसा परफेक्ट है, मैन । ”

While participating in the discussion on Private Members’ Resolution

regarding construction of canals through Ken-Betwa River linking project to

overcome the problem of water scarcity and stray cows in the Bundelkhand region

on 21.06.2019, Shri Nishikant Dubey recited the couplet of Poet Basir Badra

Saheb:-

“अगर फुससत ल्मले, पानी की तहरीरों को पढ़ लेना

हर एक दररया हमार ेसालों का अफ़साना ल्लखता है।

“खेत-खेत फैला सन्नाटा है, गागर घाट तमु्हारा है,

घाट-घाट में ल्नमसम प्रहार, अन्न कहां से लाओगे आप ।”

While initiating the discussion on Motion of Thanks on the President’s

Address on 24.06.2019, Shri Pratap Chandra Sarangi recited the following Sanskrit

Sloka from the Sastra:-

“ल्नन्दन्त ुनील्तल्नपणुा यल्द वा जतवुन्त ु

लक्षमीीः समाल्वशत,ु गच्छत ुवा यथेष्टम् ।

अद्यैव मरणमजत ु, यगुान्तर ेवा

न्याय्यात्पथीः प्रल्वचलल्न्त पद ंन धीराीः ।। ”

It means truth comes out victorious. Truth is paramount and son of truth can

never be covered by the black cloud of untruth all the time.

On hearing this, there was thumping of desks from the Treasury Benches.

“रघकुुल रीत सदा चली आई,

प्राण जाई पर वचन न जाई । ”

Address on 24.06.2019, Shri Pratap Chandra Sarangi went on quote what hon.

Prime Minister said at the beginning:-

“मेरी सरकार गरीबों को समल्पसत है । मैं प्रधान मंत्री नहीं ह ं,

मैं देश का प्रधान सेवक ह ं। उन्होंने इसको पालन करके ल्दखाया ।”

While initiating the discussion on the Motion of Thanks on the President’s

Address on 24.06.2019, Shri Pratap Chandra Sarangi recited the following Sloka:-

“संगच्छध्वं संवदध्व ं

सं वो मनांल्स जानताम्

देवा भाग ंयथा पूवे

संजानाना उपासते॥

समानो मन्त्र: सल्मल्त समानी

समानं मन: सहल्चत्तमेषाम

समानं मन्त्रमल्भमन्त्रये व:

समानेन वो हल्वषा जहुोल्म॥

समानी व आकूल्त: समाना हृदयाल्न व:

समानमजत ुवो मनो यथा व: ससुहासल्त ॥ ”

”ऋगवेद में बताया गया है ल्क मानव समाज की उन्नल्त का क्या मंत्र है । देवताओ ंने कैसे उन्नल्त

की, उसके सूत्र बताए गये.”

Address on 24.06.2019, Shri Pratap Chandra Sarangi recited Goswami Tulsidas’

poem and said: “गोजवामी तलुसीदास पहले संत और असंत, दषु्ट और साध ुको वंदना करते हैं :

“बंदउ ँसंत असज्जन चरना।

दखुप्रद उभय बीच कछु बरना।।

ल्बछुरत एक प्रान हरर लेहीं।

ल्मलत एक दखु दारुन देहीं ॥ ”

वे कहते हैं मैं संत और असंत, साध ुऔर शैतान, दोनों की वंदना करता ह ं, क्योंल्क दोनों में एक

साम्य है। क्या साम्य है? दोनों ही दखुप्रद है। सज्जन का ल्वच्छेद दखुप्रद है और दजुसन का ल्मलन ही

दखुप्रद है। दोनों ही समान हैं।

SANSKRIT SLOKAS


Address on 24.06.2019, Shri Pratap Chandra Sarangi recited the following sloka:-

“देल्व सरुशे्वरर भगवल्त गंगे, ल्त्रभवुनताररल्ण तरलतरगं,े

शंकरमौल्लल्वहाररल्ण ल्वमल,े मम मल्तराजतां तव पदकमले ।

यह श्लोक भगवत पाद्य आल्द शंकराचायस जी ने बोला था। लेल्कन

गंगा नदी का पनुरुद्धार करने का शे्रय श्री नरने्र मोदी जी को जाएगा ।“....

…. “ल्हमालय ंसमारभ्य यावत् इंद ुसरोवरम् ।

तं देवल्नल्मसतं देशं ल्हंदजुथानं प्रचक्षते ॥

उत्तर ंयत समरुजय, ल्हमारेश्चैव दल्क्षण ं।

वषस तद भारत,ं नाम भारती यत्र संतल्त ॥”…..

Further he said: “इस भूल्म में जन्म लेने के ल्लए देवताओ ंने भी तपजया की है । यह पावन

भूल्म ल्जसके बार ेमें वेद कहते हैं ल्क – माता भूल्मीः पतु्रोहं पलृ्थव्या ।

भगवान श्रीराम चन्र जी ने लंका के जवल्णसम ल्संघासन को छोड़कर लक्षमण और ल्वभीषण को

बताया ल्क मझेु यह जवल्णसम ल्संघासन नहीं चाल्हए। उन्होंने यह ल्नवेदन ल्कया था ल्क यहां शासन कररए।

लंका को छोड़कर बताया ल्क –

“अल्प जवणसमयी लंका न म ेलक्षमण रोचते,

जननी जन्मभूल्मश्च जवगासदल्प गरीयसी ॥”

आल्दशंकराचायस ने इस भूल्म का वंदन करते हुए बोला है ल्क –

“प्रातीः जमराल्म शभुदां वरदां वरणे्य,ं

ल्संधलु्मस धौदचरण ंसलु्धयां सरणं ।”

जवामी ल्ववेकानन्द जी ने बोला था ल्क आगामी 50 साल तक बाकी सभी देवताओ ंको, भारत

माता हमारी जीती-जागती राष्ट्र देवता है। भारत माता पशबुल्ल नहीं चाहती है, नर बल्ल चाहती है । सहस्त्र

यवुक बल्ल दे दो और उनके आह्वान पर लाखों नवयवुक-यवुल्तयों ने आकर फांसी के फंदे को चूमा। वंदे

मातरम ्के पंचात्श्री मंत्रोच्चारण से भारत गगन को प्रकंल्भत करते हुए फांसी के फंदे को चुंबन ल्कया और

ल्िल्टश वाल्हंनी के साथ लड़कर अपने को खंल्डत कर ल्दया। चन्र शेखर आज़ाद, भगत ल्संह, खदुीराम,

ल्दनेश गपु्ता, ल्वनय बोस, राम प्रसाद ल्बल्जमल, प्रील्तलता देवी, सनु्नलता देवी, अशफ़ाक उलला खां,

बाघा जल्तन, सबने समल्पसत कर ल्दया ।

While participating in the discussion on Motion of Thanks on the President’s

Address on 24.06.2019, Prof. Saugata Ray quoted Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore,

what he said in Bengali:-

“Esho he arjo, esho anarjo, Hindu-Musalman

Esho esho aaj tumi Ingraj, Esho esho Christian

Esho Brahman, shuchi kari mon dharo haat shabakar,

Esho he patit, hok aponit shab apomanbhaar”

He is calling Aryans, Non-Aryans, Hindus, Brahmins, Muslims, English and

Christians, and asking:

“Maar obhisheke esho esho tara” – Come for the coronation of mother.

“Mangalghat hoyeni je bhara” – To fill the holy vessel.

“Shabar paroshe pobitro karo Teertho neene” – These people are fowling. They

are violating the basic spirit of the Constitution.

On hearing this, there was thumping of desks from the Opposition Benches.

आप सब के काम आए। य ेबहुत बड़े लोग बैठे हैं, मेर ेवतन के रहनमुा बैठे हैं। पहले इनको भी दजास-बदजास

बाअदब, प्रणाम, नमजकारम, चरण जपशस। वह पे्रयर है:-

04.07.2019, this is what transpired:

“ श्री भगवंत मान (सगंरूर): मैं बहुत ही गंभीर ल्वषय पर आज बोलना चाहता ह ं। ल्वदेशों में जो दूतावास

हैं, चंूल्क लाखों भारतीय ल्वदेशों में बसते हैं, उनको सलु्वधा देने के ल्लए, अगर कोई ल्दक्कत आए तो

उनकी ल्दक्कतों को ठीक करने के ल्लए बनाए गए हैं। “

YANNAI PUGUNDHA NILAM

While presenting the first Budget 2019-20 of the newly elected National

Democratic Alliance Government, Hon. Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs,

Shrimati Nirmala Sitharaman on 05.07.2019 quoted a line from Sangam time Tamil

Literature Piece, a Tamil Sangam Era work being done by Pisirandaiyaar. The

verse, “Yannai pugundha nilam”, a land into which an elephant gets in. This was

sung as an advice to the Pandian King Arivudai Nambi. The King is Arivudai Nambi

and Pisirandaiyaar gave the following advice:-

“Kai nel aruthu kavalam koliney

Arivudai Vendan neri arindu koliney

Parivu Thapa edukkum pinndam nachin

Yanai pukka pulam pola

Thanum unnan, ulagamumkedumey”

It means “a few mounds of rice, just a few mounds of rice from paddy that is

harvested from a small piece of land would be sufficient for the elephant. For an

elephant, just a few mounds of rice cooked from paddy which is taken from a small

piece of land will be sufficient. But what if the elephant itself enters into the field

and starts eating? It would eat far lesser than what it will trample with its foot. I

hope, the meaning is clear. So, the advice given to Pandian Arivudai Nambi is a

valuable advice that this Government appreciates. If an elephant is given mounds

of rice - here I would refer to taxation - it will be quite happy. It does not have to

enter the field and trample to eat the food. So, we do not intend to trample

anybody.”

On hearing this there was thumping of desks from the Treasury Benches.

कॉलेज में पढ़ता था, दो सीटें लोक सभा मे थी, ल्वद्याथी पररषद के कायसकतास के रूप में काम करता

था । जब हम लोगों को देश ल्नमासण की बातें बताते थे, राष्ट्र ल्हत की बात करते थे तब हमारा मज़ाक

उड़ाया जाता था । During those days I used to recited this poem:-

“मेर ेलफ्जों से न कर मरे ेल्करदार का फैसला

तेरा वजू़द ल्मट जाएगा मेरी हकीकत बताते-बताते
