Jubilee GreetinGsRev. Fr. Jaiswam Irupuzhickal CMI is celebrating the golden jubilee of his religious

profession. He was born on 26 December 1939 as the 3rd son of Chacko and Anna Irupuzhickalat Vellikulam, Pala. He joined the seminary at Mannanam in 1960 and made his first profession on16 May 1963 at Chethipuzha and was ordained priest on 03 January 1971. Fr. Jaiswam Irupuzhickaljoined the Jagdalpur mission in 1974. He rendered his services as Administrator of GethsemaneMonastery Palampra and S.H. Monastery Chethipuzha, Finance secretary of Nirmal Province,President of Bastar Sewak Mandal and Secretary of Bastar Rachana Samiti. His first appointment

was in Bishop House. Staying at Bishop’s House, Fr. Jaiswam spent his life and energy for the development of Potanarstation. He initiated so many programmes like literacy programme at every station in Bastar, Grain banks, Credit union,Child health insurance scheme, Bamboo handicraft programme, Rice mill, Tailoring centre etc. He served the missionstations like Potanar, Palligaon, Dharampura and Naktisemra. Nirmal Province is grateful to Rev. Fr. Jaiswam Irupuzhickalfor all his contributions in the development of Jagdalpur mission and Nirmal province. At present he is the member ofNirmal Sadan Dharampura and renders service to Devadan, Mardum and Bodhghat.

Rev. Fr. Thomas Poothakuzhy CMI is celebrating the golden jubilee of his religiousprofession. He was born on 04 February 1943 as the 6th son of Jacob and Annamma Poothakuzhyat Kunnumbhagam, Kanjirappally. He joined the seminary at Mannanam in 1960 and made hisfirst profession on 16 May 1963 at Chethipuzha and was ordained priest on 03 January 1971. Fr.Thomas Poothakuzhy joined the Jagdalpur mission in 1973. He rendered his services as the hostelwarden at Mannanam, Spiritual director of CMI brothers’ unit at Kadalundi (Kozhikode) andBabubhet (Chanda), Bursar of Nirmal Niketan School Karli, Vicar of Cathedral at Jagdalpur,

Father in charge of Devadan farm Bangalore, Spiritual director at Dharmaram, Bangalore. His first appointment was inKonta station and staying at Konta he bought a piece of land for Chinthgarh station in 1976. He served the mission stationslike Konta, Kondagaon, Keskal, Palligaon, Thellakom, Niravilpuzha, Karli, Nelsanar and Bhanpuri. At present Fr. ThomasPoothakuzhy is the member of the Nirmal Aram, Naktisemra. Nirmal Province is grateful to Rev. Fr. Rev. Fr. Augustine Srampickal CMI is celebrating the golden jubilee of his religiousprofession. He was born on 09 March 1943 as the 5th son of Joseph and Anna Srampickal atAruvikuzhy, Changanacherry. He joined the seminary at Mannanam in 1960 and made his firstprofession on 16 May 1963 at Chethipuzha and was ordained priest on 03 January 1971. Fr.Augustine Srampickal joined the Jagdalpur mission in 1973. He rendered his services at Muhammaof Kottayam province till 1972. He is the pioneer of Narayanpur station. He served the mission

stations like Narayanpur, Konta, Bhiragaon and Karithgaon. In 2002 he was appointed as the member of the NirmalAram, Naktisemra. Nirmal Province is grateful to Rev. Fr. Augustine Srampickal for all his contributions in the developmentof Jagdalpur mission and Nirmal province.

Rev. Fr. Abraham Palakkattuchira CMI is celebrating the silver jubilee of his priestly ordination.He was born on 03 June 1960 as the 2nd son of Joseph and Marykutty Palakkattuchira atKudavechoor, Ernakulam. He joined the seminary at Mutholy in 1976. In 1977 he came toJagdalpur for the plus two courses. Fr. Abraham Palakkattuchira made his first profession on 05June 1980 at Chethipuzha and was ordained priest on 27 November 1988. After his ordination hewent to Tapkara parish (Jeshpur Diocese) to have pastoral experience. His first appointment wasin Vinayalaya Novitiate Bhanpuri as the team member. Fr. Abraham Palakkattuchira rendered hisservices as the assistant rector at Suman Ashram Palligaon, Auditor of Nirmal Province, Diocesan

procurator and priest in charge of Bishop’s House Jagdalpur, Vicar of Cathedral at Jagdalpur, Spiritual director at GurukulKondagaon, Vicar Provincial of Nirmal Province, Father in-charge at Karithgaon, Bursar of Vidya Jyoti School and in-charge of Pulpad School. He is the pioneer of Velankanni Chapel and jail ministry at Jagdalpur. At present he is the parishpriest at Bacheli. Nirmal Province is grateful to Rev. Fr. Abraham Palakkattuchira for all his contributions in the developmentof Jagdalpur mission and Nirmal province.

Baby Mangattuthazhathu CMI is celebrating the silver jubilee of his priestly ordination.He was born on 01 February 1960 as son of Thomas and Mary Mangattuthazhathu at Nellippara,Idukky. He joined the seminary at Suman Ashram Palligaon in 1978. Fr. Baby Mangattuthazhathumade his first profession on 05 June 1982 at Marikkunnu (Calicut) and was ordained priest on24 November 1988. After his ordination he went to Duldula parish (Jeshpur Diocese) to havepastoral experience. His first appointment was in Bishop’s House as the secretary to late BishopMar. Paulinus Jeerakath. Fr. Baby Mangattuthazhathu is Pioneer of Nirmal Niketan SchoolKarli. He served the mission stations like Geedam and Karli. He also rendered his services as

Christmas CelebrationsAs a preparation for Christmas, the department ofEvangelization conducted a special preaching for theChristian community at Bandham on 14 December 2012.Fr.
