YPU testers have self-learningcapability

This reduces the time and effort requiredto record wiring lists and build wiringtest programs.Programs no longer have to be written fromscratch. All that needs to be done is to attacha "golden cable" (a UUT that is known to begood) to the YPU system. A simple commandtells the computer to build and save a wiringtest program that can be used later to providethe same types of results when testing othercables. This self-learning capability is particularlyuseful for analyzing and testing cables whosedesign and/or production parameters are notknown. YPU testers collect and record thewiring patterns of any kind of cable or harness,generate appropriate testing programs andthen conduct rapid automated test for opens,shorts, and miswires."

This one-of-a-kind tester enables automatedbi-directional continuity testing of eachring - SEPARATELY.The system uniquely tests for insulation(including dynamic tests), current leakage andresistance noise.
