Polypropylene Dipping Baskets Imperia/ Industries Inc. Belleville, Mich. These baskets are fabricated of 3/16-in. thick high-impact polypropylene copolymer. The notched Izod test of this material shows no break. Baskets are stocked in 12 in. diameter X 12 in. high, 10 X 10 in., and 8 X 8 in. Custom-fabricated sizes are available in round, square, or rectangular shapes. Sidewalls and bottom are manually welded with 3-pass welds using inert gas. Top and bottom bands are placed on the exterior wal1 for addi- tional sidewall support. Handles are solid polypropylene or stainless steel. These baskets offer a tost savings over stainless steel. The 12-in. basket weighs only 4 lb. Custom-fabricated baskets are available in X+in. or %-in. thick high-impact polypropylene.
