ABOUT THE COMPANY

INTRODUCTION

• The La-Gajjar group was founded in 1935, by the Late Laljibhai Jivram Gajjar (1917 – 1972), a visionary and industrialist par excellence manufacturing a unique product known as Hand Blower – one of the first of its kind in the country.

• It is now known under the brand name of Varuna.• In 1981, the new enterprise La-Gajjar Machineries (P)

Limited brought in bore-well and open-well submersibles into the manufacturing line. The real differential edge actually came to the Company in 1992 when Shri Udayan Gajjar, now Managing Director, conceptualised the use of Oil-filled Submersible Motors and introduced the first Oil-filled Submersible motor in the country.

Learning Outcomes

• Knowledge Enrichment: By meeting and discussion with the executives of company lead to enrichment of knowledge.

• Level of Confidence: During the project, I need to stand in front of such higher authorities of the company which help to increase confidence.

• Planning: I learned how much a planning is important for a company.

• Communication Skills: Through discussion with different people from different departments helped in increasing my communication skills.

CONCLUSION

After completion of the project I realized that how necessary is the production planning important for any manufacturing company. If proper planning is not done then there is an unnecessary investment in the production of the products. The quality and quantity of the product is equally important to satisfy customer’s needs.
