    Oh, Snow!

This game can be played in a small group or put into a

station. Cut all cards apart and put into a bag/container. A

student draws one card at a time and reads it. If the

student reads it correctly, the student can keep it. If not,

it goes back in the bag/container. Then its the next

    persons turn.

Oh, snow! card means you put all the cards collected

back into the bag/ container. Play continues for as long asyou wish.

One cold winter morning a boy stood looking out his bedroom

window. He could not believe what he saw. No school today, he

thought to himself as he ran down the stairs and through thekitchen. He reached for his boots and mittens.

What did the boy see out his window?_______________________________

His mother stopped him and told him to go change his clothes

before he went outside to play. The boy rushed back to his room.

    What was the boy wearing?________________________________________

He put on his warm clothes and raced down the stairs again. The

ground was all white. No grass was showing. He quickly began toroll three different sized snowballs. One small, one medium, and

one large. He found two sticks, a few rocks, and a carrot. He was

smiling and proud of what he had made.

    What did the boy make?________________________________________
