  • From Item 3, over half of the teenagers consider they arent happier while using smartphones to interact with friends. From Item 4, 47.82% of the teenagers disagree that they have more intimate relationship with friends using smartphones. From Item 5 to 6, most teenagers prefer to interact with others and express their feelings and worry to friends face to face in the real life.According to the survey, we can realize that although smartphones are used by many teenagers, most teenagers would like to interact with people face to face.Teenagers experiences of interacting with friends through smartphones (questionnaire part II)

  • Although technology has increased the opportunities of interaction with friends, most students thought that interacting with people face to face was indispensable.Through smartphones, the students agreed that they could voice their opinions bravely for themselves while facing embarrassing and uncomfortable situations.

  • Despite the trend of simplified interpersonal interaction, most students still longed for closer and stronger relationship with their friends.
