In addition to above, I have been involved with events and promotion with San Francisco´s The California Wine Institute in Stockholm, Sweden – a marketing alliance to place and secure position for California wines in Scandinavia.
The primary actor in this group is the world’s largest wine producer, Ernest & Julio Gallo – for whom I have been active in presenting their portfolio to corporate clients in the hospitality industry through event generation - with particular involvement as consultant for the annual Tourism Trade Fair, TUR Mässan in Gothenburg 2001 – 2004. In concert with some of Sweden´s most prestigious tourism and gastronomy trade entities, I helped launch a unique promotional event on board the “Tour Train” - whereby 350 invited VIP dignitaries were exposed to culinary demonstrations, sampling delights and wine tastings on the return leg to Stockholm.
