This week year 7 were visited by Loudmouth, a theatre in Education Company, who spoke about the importance of mental wellbeing. Students were given fantastic advice on how to support their own and other’s wellbeing, using the FIVE WAYS TO WELLBEING: 1. Connect Talk to someone instead of sending an email/text Speak to someone new Put five minutes aside to find out how someone really is

4. Learn Sign up for a club Read the news or a book Learn a new word.

2. Be active Take the stairs not the lift Go for a walk at lunchtime Do some ‘easy exercise’, like stretching

5. Give Participation in a charity event Offer to help someone in the community Ask someone how you can help with their job

3. Take notice Get organised – clear the clutter! Take notice of how your friends are feeling or acting Visit a new place for lunch

Stuart House Achievements!

Outstanding Achievements this half term!

Well done to Stuart House for some of the fantastic achievements this half term. Our attendance as a house

remains at 97% which is brilliant at this point in the term! Well done all!

Individual successes include:

Active Commitment to the House to Archie P for his relentless commitment to helping with School Events. Sure to Improve to Richard N for his fantastic work in

lessons. Imaginative work from Louise H, Tegan B and Izzy S for

their charity work! Resilience to Ellemae J for her hard work and commitment in

School. Effort to Amari J for his brilliant work in lessons and improved

attitude.

Also a very big well done to Isla who competes in National competitions for Dance. She will be continuing with this over

the half term so good luck! We wish you all the success!

Very well done to you all, as a team, we are very proud of you! Congratulations! Miss Heeley and the Stuart Team

School Uniform If you are planning to replace uniform items during the half term break, can we politely remind you to ensure the correct uniform is purchased. Uniform requirements can be found on our website: http://www.windsor.windsoracademytrust.org.uk/about-us/school-uniform/ To maintain our very high standards we expect students to have excellent school uniform. We will continue to focus on this in the coming weeks and would really value your support as always. Mr Morley Deputy Headteacher

Dear parents and carers Please take a few minutes to discuss the iZone website with your child as it contains a large and varied amount of support, guidance and information ranging from education, mental well being, health and how to give back to their local community. It also has extensive details of half term activities across Dudley, which may be of interest. https://izone.org.uk/ Mr Morley

Student health and wellbeing: May we remind all

students and parents that water is the only drink allowed in school. All students should have their own water bottle which they can fill before school, at break, dinner and after school from one of the water stations around school. Drinking water regularly is very important to keep hydrated and maximise attention in lessons. Thank you for your support

to the girl’s football team who took part in

the Halesowen & Stourbridge Secondary Schools Girls indoor 6 a side football tournament on Wednesday at Leasowes School. The team remain unbeaten and finished overall winners! Congratulations to all Beth Rudge, Keriann Huxley, Naomi Walder, Ellie Allen, Shaylee Stamps, Erin Lees, Courtney Box, Betsy Cooper, Noor Nayif and Eesha Aktar
