PROCEDURE TO INSTALL WINDOWS SERVER

2003 ENTERPRISE EDITION

1. Switch on the Computer and insert Windows Server 2003 (CD) into CD Drive.

2. Press any key when the messagePress Any Key to Boot from CD.. appears.3. Wait from Welcome to Setup screen

4. PressEnterto continue.

5. Press F8 on Windows Licensing Agreementscreen6. PressEsc. to continue

7. Delete the existing partitions (C: and D:)

TO DELETE D:

SelectD: using arrows keys pressD key pressL key to confirm

TO DELETE C:

Select C: using arrows keys press Ckey pressL key to confirm

8. Create Primary Partition (C:)Press Ckey type size as 3660 (assuming hard disk size is 9 (GB) and leave the remaining

space as un partitioned space and pressEnterto create.

9. PressEnterto install. (Install in C:\ Drive)10. Select format the partition using the NTFS file system option and press Enter to continue.

11. After formatting is over setup will start copying files.

12. The computer will start after file copy is over.

***Note :- Dont press any key when the messagePress any key to bootfrom CD.appears.

13. Set up will continue.14. Click on customize. button onRegional and Language Options window.

15. Click onLanguage tab

16. SelectInstall files for complex script and right to left language(including Thai) check box.17. Click on OKbutton on Install Supplement Language Support message box.

18. Click on OKbutton.

19. Click onNextbutton.20. Tupe name and organization and click onNextbutton onPersonalised Your Software

window.

21. Type the 25 product key TYK8R-HKVGQ-K9Y7Y-D4PRP-4F8YB.

22. Click onNextbutton. onLicensing Mode window.23. Type the Computer Name (provide by SCRB). Leave user name and password blank.

24. Select the time zone as (GMT +05:30) Chenai, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi and Click on

Next button. on Date and Time Setting window.25. Setup will continue.

26. Select Custom Settings option and click onNextbutton onNetwork Settingwindow

27. SelectInternet Protocol (TCP/IP) option and click onPropertiesbutton onNetworkComponents window.

28. Select Use the following IP Address option and type the relevant IP Address and Subnet mask

onInternet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties window.

29. Click on OKbutton30. Click onNextbutton.

31. Accept the default workgroup name WORKGROUPand click onNextbutton on Workgroup

or Computer Domain window.32. Setup will continue. After successful installation, computer will restart remove Windows

Server CD from CD Drive

33. When the Computer Boots for the first time, Manage your Server window appears. Selectdont display this page at logon and close the window.

34. Right click on task bar Click onProperties Click on Start Menu tab Select Classic

Start Menu Click on OKbutton.

PROCEDURE TO CREATE SECONDARY PARTITION (D:)

1. Right Click onMy Computericon. Click onManage.

2. Click onDisk Managementon Computer Management window3. Right Click on CD-ROM (D:)base. Click on Change Drive Letter and Paths.

4. Click on Change.. Button

5. Select E from the combo box and click on OKbutton on Change Drive Letter or path window6. Click on Yes button to confirm7. Right Click on Unallocatedbox and click onNew Partition.

8. Click onNextbutton on new Partition wizard.9. SelectExtended Partition radio button Click onNextbutton10. Click onNextbutton onSpecify Partition size window.

11. Click onfinish button

12. Right Click on Free Space Click on New Logical Drive13. Click onNextbutton.

14. Click onNextbutton.

15. Click onNextbutton.16. Click onNextbutton.


18. Click on Finish button. Wait for completion of Formatting!!!

1. InsertSQL Server 2000 CD into CD drive

2. Click onSQL Sever 2000 components

3. Click onInstall Database4. Select dont display this message again and Click on to Continue


6. Click onNextbutton.7. Click onNextbutton.


9. Click on Yesbutton.10. Type the 25 digit product key

12. Click onNextbutton

13. Select Custom option14. Click onBrowse.. button to specify the path for program Files. Type the path as

D:\SQL2000 and Click on OKbutton on Choose Folder window.15. Click onBrowse. Button to specify the path for Data Files. Type the path as

D:\SQL2000 and Click on OKbutton on Choose Folderwindow.



18. Select use the Local System Accounts option

19. Click onNextbutton20. Select mixed mode(Windows Authentication and SQL Server) radio button andBlank

Password (not recommended) and Click on Next button.21. Click onNextbutton22. Click onNextbutton


24. Selectper seat for option type ten (10)25. Click onNextbutton

26. Restart the Computer.

1. InsertSQL Server 2000 CD into CD drive2. Click onSQL Server 2000 components

3. Click onInstall Analysis Services.

4. Select dont display this message again (in the check box) and Click on ContinuebuttonSQLServer 2000 Analysis Services SP2 and below.


6. Click on Yesbutton7. Click on browse button

8. Type D:\ Analysis Services in the path text box on Choose Folder window and

Click on OKbutton.

9. Click on Yes button to create Folder.10. Click onNextbutton



13. Wait Click on Finishbutton.

1. InsertSQL SERVICE PACK CDinto CD drive.2. Double click onSQL2000-SP3 folder.

3. Double Click onSetup.batfile

4. Click onNextbutton5. Click on Yesbutton

6. Click onNextbutton7. Click onNextbutton8. SelectIgnore the security threat warning, leave the password blankradio button Click on OK

button.

9. Select UpgradeMicrosoft Search and Apply SQL Server 2003SP3 (Required) check box andClick on Continue button.

10. Click on OKbutton

11. Click onNextbutton12. Wait. Click on OKbutton.

13. Click on Finish button.

1. Double click on SQL 2000- Analysis-SP3 folder

2. Double Click on Setup.exe file.3. Click on Next button.

4. Click on Yes button

PROCEDURE TO INSTALL MICROSOFT OFFICE XP-PROFESSIONAL

1. InsertMicrosoft Office CD into CD Drive2. Type the 25 Digit Product Key

3. Click onNextbutton4. SelectI accept the terms in the License Agreementcheck box


6. Select Complete radio button and changeInstall to :path asD:\Program Files\ Microsoft

Office.

7. Click on nextbutton

8. Click onInstallbutton9. Wait.. Click on OKbutton. On successful Completion.

PROCEDURE TO CREATE BLANK CCIS MLE DATABASE

1. Insert CCIS MLe CD into CD Drive

2. CCIS MLe Setup Page will run automatically.3. SelectBlank Database Creation radio button and click onRun Setupbutton adjacent to the

option selection.

4. After successful creation message. appears. Click on OKbutton.

PROCEDURE TO INSTALL .NET FRAMEWORK ON WINDOWS

XP OR 2000.

1. Insert CCIS MLe CD into CD Drive

2. CCIS MLe Setup Page will run automatically.3. Select Framework Setup radio button and click onRun Setupbutton adjacent to the option

selection.

4. Click on Yesbutton5. SelectI agree option and click onInstallbutton.

6. Waittill installation completes.. Click on OKbutton.

PROCEDURE TO INSTALL CCIS MLe APPLICATION.

1. Insert CCLIS Mle CD into CD Drive2. CCIS MLe setup Page will run automatically.

3. SelectApplication Setup radio button4. Click onRun Setup button Adjacent to the option selection.

5. If a message showingSetup cannot continue because some system files are out of date.

appears, click on OKbutton, the Yes button to restart the computer.

Repeat steps 1 to 3 after computer is restarted.


7. Click onBegin Setup icon8. Click on Continue button

9. Click onNo to Allbutton ifversion Conflictwindow appears.

10. Click onIgnore orYesbutton if warning message appears.11. Click on OKbutton. After installation completes.

PROCEDURE TO INSTALL WEB- REPORTS.

LOCAL AREA CONNECTION (LAN) MUST BE ENABLE AND CODE MUST BE

PLUGGED INTO LAN CARD BEFORE INSTALLING WEB REPORTS

1. Insert CCIS MLe CD into CD Drive.

2. CCIS MLe Setup Page will run automatically.

3. Select Web Reports Setup radio button and click onRun Setupbutton.4. Click onNextbutton.

5. Type Web Reports in Virtual directory text box and Click onNextbutton.


7. Click on Closebutton.

PROCEDURE TO INSTALL CCIS MLE ADMIN UTILITY

1. Insert CCIS MLe CD into CD Drive.2. CCIS MLe Setup Page will run automatically.

3. SelectAdmin Utility Setup radio button and click onRun setupbutton


5. Click onBegin Setup icon.6. Click on Continuebutton.

7. Click onIgnore or Yesbutton.8. Click on OKbutton.
