• Windows 7 had touch but it was not ideal• Windows 8 has large tiles and apps that suit

touch • Windows 8 was made for touch so it is on

windows tablets and phones• Windows tablet surface uses it

Windows store (apps)

• With start you can now get apps and add them to your new start screen

• There are a variety of apps for free or some paid

• This is very similar to the chrome store

• Windows 8 has added security that help protect you from malware and other viruses

• With windows 7 you had to buy a third-party anti-virus software that you needed to install

• Windows 8 has the same capabilities as 7 but windows has lots more apps that give hundreds new of functions
