Our Expectations Commitment to learning and success Excellent punctuality and attendance Independent study – effective use of ‘Private Study’ time and work at

school Contribution to the school and wider community All Y12 students will participate in the Extension Programme All students will have attained at least a C grade in GCSE English and Maths

Our Offer - Entry Criteria Sixth Form Offer will be dependent on two separate entry

criteria: ‘Attainment 8’ Score – based on GCSE grades in English,

Maths, Science (including Computer Science and for 2016, BTEC Science), MFL, Humanities subject (s) + other subjects

Subject specific entry criteria e.g. A Level Economics requires a GCSE B grade in English and Maths

Students will be made an offer based on predicted grades taken from January Progress Checks

Year 11 Mock Exams

30th November – 11th December. Students will be on study leave during this period. Students late to an exam will be refused entry and

study leave privilege may be removed. Marks will be used to determine tiers of entry and

predicted grades for applications to the Sixth Form. GCSE Science students will all be given the

opportunity to sit the Higher paper. Receive results in an awards assembly in January.
