Our Community Garage Sale will be Friday, April 13th and Saturday, April 14th from 8AM – 4 PM. Winchester Country will put signs up at the entrances to the subdivision. ***PLEASE DO NOT ATTATCH SIGNS TO ANY STOP SIGNS, POLES OR LIGHT FIXTURES****. Please remember on Saturday to remove your signs as we want to always keep our community looking its very best. Please do not put signs up in the entrances of the subdivision. Thank you to all who will be participating. In case of inclement weather the signs will remain up and the next weekend will be the rain date.

Winchester Country Easter Event

We would like to thank all those who helped make this annual Event a huge success. Joe Sliepka our 89 year old “Spring Chicken” of a bunny, Amy Jaster, Girl Scout troop 15193, the numerous Youth (you know who you are and thanks) who showed up to help, the Winchester Country Board Members Nicole Chovantez (our President and neighborhood photographer) Peter Dayton and Richard Burgess. A big thank you to all of our residents who came out and enjoyed the day’s events with us.

Winchester Country Seniors’ Club

If you are 55 years old and older we are looking for you. We meet the 4th Monday of every month at the Winchester Country Clubhouse. We meet for snacks and fellowship. We play Dominions: Train and Chicken foot. We also play bingo, cards and other games all while enjoying each others company. We go out to eat and attend plays at the 1960 Playhouse, Houston Family Arts Center on Grant Road. All seniors in Winchester Country are invited to attend. OTHER SENIOR HAPPENINGS AROUND TOWNCy-Fair AARP Chapter #4543 meets the third Tuesday of every

month at 10:00 am at Village on the Park located at 12102 Steepleway Blvd.,Houston, Texas 77065.

Primary Election Update As many of you may have noticed the Primary Election that was scheduled to be held at our clubhouse on March 6, 2012 did not take place. I have been informed that there is a redistricting taking place and that we are looking at a not yet confirmed date of May 29, 2012 for the Primary Election to take place. This redistricting will affect the residents of Winchester Country. Please check to see where you will vote as I am sorry I do not have this information for you. We will keep you updated as best we can on any new developments, and please remember it is a privilege as well as a right to vote.
