VEHICLE CROSSING POINTSVehicle crossing points will manage vehicles into and out of the affected area between 07:30 and 19:30.

Vehicles will be facilitated across the event route by stewards at the following locations and at the times indicated:

All day vehicle crossings:

• Approach Road to Lambton Road (northbound), Pepys Road to Approach Road (southbound)

• Ridgway to Belvedere Grove, access in both directions

Vehicle crossing of the route at these locations will operate slowly when there are safe gaps and it is recommended that crossing points are used only when essential.

• Copse Hill to the A3 (no access from the A3)

Vehicles can cross the route only when it is safe to do so as instructed by stewards. The safety of both the public and participants is paramount.

CARERSVehicle crossing points will facilitate carers and vehicles across the route throughout the day. Carers should plan their routes in advance due to the nature of local road closures and anticipated traffic. If you are a carer or rely on care visits please contact our helpdesk on 0345 894 9773 for advice or assistance in planning your day and using vehicle crossing points.

PEDESTRIAN CROSSING POINTSThese are located at the existing signalled crossings along the event route and will be under marshal supervision to help you across the road throughout the day. Pedestrian crossing points will be temporarily closed prior to the professional race passing through.

PARKINGVehicles, including motorcycles, cannot park on the event route from 00:01 on Sunday 4 August. Any vehicle left on the route or parked in a suspended parking bay will be removed from 04:00.

Free resident parking outside the affected area is available at St George’s Road car park in Wimbledon Town Centre from 23:00 on Saturday 3 August until midnight on Sunday 4

August. Access to the car park is from Wimbledon Town Centre only.

There is also free parking in many roads just outside the affected area at the weekend.

LOCAL BUSESA number of bus routes will be affected. Buses may be diverted, suspended or will terminate earlier than their usual destination as a result of the road closures.

Some stops may also be temporarily relocated or suspended. Buses on routes 57, 93, 131, 200 and 493 are affected in Wimbledon and Raynes Park.

Check tfl.gov.uk for live public transport information on the day.

Two buses with mobility access facilities will follow the route shown on the map overleaf, which is a similar route to the 200 bus. Minibuses will stop at existing bus stops along this route and will offer a ‘Hail and Ride’ service. The waiting time at each bus stop should be no more than 30 minutes. See the timetable on the right for further details.
