LOOKBOOK SPRING-SUMMER 2014

Page 2: Willow & Co.

Willow & Co. was born out of a dream to create a complete children’s pattern collection. We are nine designers who work collaboratively, knowing that by

combining our expertise we can achieve something truly unique and special.

Each designer participated in the decision-making process. As we shared our ideas, discussed our vi-sion, patiently listened, pushed each other cre-

atively, drafted and redrafted, we grew individu-ally and collectively. In the process, something

magical was born – our first collection, Wanderlust.

We were inspired by the glamping theme fora few reasons. We love comfortable clothes, but we also love style. Our goal was to create quality, stylish pieces that let children explore the won-ders of the world with ease. As a team we worked

relentlessly to design clothes that are casual and practical, yet with special unique touches –

whether in design, construction or finishing tech-niques. As a result, all pieces look appropriate on a playground as well as in a wedding celebration,

because who has the time to change?

We believe that children deserve the best. We are hoping you and your child will appreciate our mod-ern, fashion-forward aesthetics. Please feel free

to browse through our lookbook to get inspired.

We hope you love our collection as much as we do.

Enjoy! The Willow and Co . Team

Awoken by the sounds of birds chirp-ing outside, Willow stretches her arms, rubs her sleepy eyes, and slides out of her bed. Except for the birds, it feels like the whole world is still in a deep slumber.Quickly, she slips on her dress, and puts on her sandals. She slips out of the boroque enclosure and into a world of magic. It’s time to explore.

Heavy mist hangs in the air and brushes her face, col-lecting in droplets on her cheeks and eyelashes. Trees like shadowy giants dancing around in the wind; their tips painted by the morn-ing sun, peeking through the thick foliage. Morning dew glistens on spider webs - tiny treasures soon to dis-appear. Birds chatter high above in the tree tops.

Page 8: Willow & Co.

A baby fawn with a cotton ball of a tail, peeks out from the bushes curiously. The forest casts a spell on her, her lungs filling with the heady scent of loam and pine, her eyes darting with wonder. She feels the weight of the canopy above lighten, lessen, wane, and finally the trees part, revealing a beautiful meadow.

Blue, purple, red, and yellow flowers thrust up-ward toward the sky. They form a thick luscious carpet, springy under her feet. She picks a few and twirls, eyes closed and head back, arms out, basking in warmth and elation. She breathes deep-ly, the intoxicating aroma of wildflowers, and fresh mint wash over her like a wave.

.She bends and picks a handful of flowers, and gently stores her treasures in the soft voile pocket of her dress. The sound of music lures her back to the camp, her feet barely touching the ground as she hurries to share her dicoveries with the others.

The key to a successful glamping trip is to be well prepared. Noth-ing is worse than opening your suitcases in a five star yurt to realize, that (oh, no!) your be-loved lip gloss is missing. Not acceptable. Here are a few of the essentials to make your trip a smashing success: - Your favorite pillow/ blanket - Soft pajamas to lounge in - Comfortable shoes in case you decide to venture (gasp!) into the wild, otherwise your favorite em-bellished sandals will do - Hair bands and hair accessories - Toiletries (lip gloss and nail polish in a variety of colors and flavors) - Sunglasses - A few bathing suits and swimming trunks

- i-Phone- can you say #selfie - The newest glamping collection from Willow & Co. *** Note: it’s important to hire your personal dressmaker - also known as mom in advance; you don’t want to risk her being booked. Follow our advice closely to en-sure a pleasant & glamorouscamping trip!
