WIFI SOLUTIONS service was born out of the ever increasing need to solve wifi and internet problems in homes and

home-based businesses here in WA. As people rely more and more on the internet in their homes, and with most

internet connected devices using the home wifi, poor wifi is a massive and growing problem. We realised that most

people were just not getting the right advice - after spending a lot of money and wasting a lot of time on quick fix low

The following is an overview of what we will do for you. We come to your home and ...

● Firstly we will do an incoming speed test on your modem router internet connection - to determine the overall

speed of the internet that you are receiving from your ISP—Internet Service Provider.

● We will test your internet router, its settings and programming - as well as your router WiFi settings.

● We will do an internet speed test and wireless WiFi signal strength and speed test throughout your entire home -

all areas - to find out your weak and strong wifi signal areas.

● We will assess your home for signal interference causing factors, structures and devices.

● We will give you a full written report detailing everything that we have found in our tests above.

● We will give you a detailed map of your home showing your WiFi signal strength levels and readings throughout all

rooms and areas.

● We will give you a formal quote explaining in detail how we will fix your wifi issues, what equipment we will use,

and how we will give you excellent WiFi signal throughout your entire home.

So how will you fix my WiFi?

After we have done our comprehensive site testing of your internet and WiFi as detailed above, we will present you with

several options. There is no "one size fits all." Depending on the size of your home, it's design, what interference causing

factors are present - and your budget - we will present you with a range of WiFi solutions. We will also make our assessment

and recommendation based on your internet usage - a home with 4 children all doing online gaming will have very different

wifi requirements from that of a home where there is just an single 80 year old lady who answers her emails twice a week!

We have a range of solutions available, depending on the factors that I have explained above. Sometimes a commercial

grade WiFi Extender can be used. Sometimes we can improve your WiFi by changing your router to a higher quality unit. In

large homes we may install wireless Mesh Network units. For very high speed and seamless performance we also use

commercial grade PoE Network Access Points.

How much will it cost?

Our initial site inspection and internet/wifi test as detailed above will cost $95. If you however then proceed with one of our

recommended wifi solutions, this cost is included in the overall charge. We have commercial Signal Extender systems that

For the “tech heads” ...

So how do we actually improve your WiFi? As mentioned before depending on the size of your home, the strength and field

of your existing wifi, the location of your internet router, where your main usage areas in your home are, your internet usage

requirements … and your budget … there are a range of “fix” options that we use.

As a first step … and the most cost effective … are commercial grade WiFi Extender units. These can work well, no cabling is

required, and they are very cost effective. In larger or multi level homes, or where internet usage is high, this may not be the

preferred option though. Another negative with Extenders can be depending on your “Client Devices” (phones, tablets etc)

that are connected to the wifi - as you move around the home they may not automatically switch from one Extender unit to

the other as the signal strength increases and weakens. With some devices and in some cases you may need to manually

switch between networks (Extenders) as you move around different areas of your home. Extenders can also cut down

performance - not good in high use internet homes.

Sometimes peoples internet routers can be at fault. As well as deteriorating with age, some of the older routers are not

compatible with current technology wifi frequencies. Many home routers in use are also of a very low quality. Replacement

with a good quality, current technology router can sometimes vastly improve your whole of home wifi.

The next weapon in our arsenal is a Mesh Node system. This consists of a main unit that connects to your existing router,

and then a number of satellite nodes that are strategically placed around the home serving the main internet usage areas.

Like Extenders this is a wireless system - no cabling required - however the throughput speed - both out to and back from

each device connected to the wifi - is much more than an Extender. It’s like putting a router in every area of your home that

requires internet connection. A Mesh network also gives you one seamless wifi network throughout your entire house.

Finally, we have PoE Access Points - for very large homes, multilevel, or those that just want blindingly fast wifi coverage

across their entire home or property. They can be placed to cover back yards, pool areas, rear sheds, etc as well. More

expensive as they must be cabled, they are however the ultimate solution in large area wifi coverage. We use these when

installing commercial wifi systems in shopping centres, warehouses, and large commercial projects. Again, only commercial

grade “Enterprise” quality hardware is used.

After we have completed our site analysis and testing of your home and existing wifi system, we will discuss and advise you
