CURRENT ENGAGEMENT OPPORTUNITIES

• AGA Coffee Chats: Attend weekly, virtual chats where members share progress and challenges, discuss the latest news in gender and tech, and discover promising practices.

• Opportunities for Collective Action: Engage in efforts such as Computer Science Education Week (www.csedweek.org), NCWIT Aspirations in Computing (www.aspirations.org), and Sit With Me (www.sitwithme.org).

• Help Shape New NCWIT Research Efforts: For example, provide advice for a suite of NCWIT resources focused on diversity and inclusion at technical conferences.

RESULTS• AGA membership is diverse, including

over 55 member organizations spanning corporate affinity groups such as Bank of America Women in Tech & Operations and Brocade Women in Networking, professional associations such as the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), to national, regional, and even virtual tech-based organizations such as Girl Develop It and the Flatirons LGBTQ Tech Meetup.

• AGA membership has a combined, potential reach of over 90,000 technical women and men, all working to change the face and feel of the industry.

• 100% of AGA members who completed the 2015 NCWIT Summit survey reported that attending NCWIT meetings facilitated collaboration with other members and energized them to take action.
