Why I’m happy with Zach

Ever since I can remember I have always wanted a beautiful wedding and a wonderful husband to spend my life with. When I was very young I remember I always used to dress up as a pretty little princess and dream of my prince charming.

When I was in the 8th grade I started to hang out with my friend Hannah more often, we had always known each other but never really socialized outside of school until now. Hannah and I grew as friends and now we are best friends to this day.

I knew Hannah had a brother but I didn’t ever really talk to him that much or see him that often at their house until Hannah’s 14th birthday. Her birthday was a sleep-over and I was going to spend the night.

It was Hannah and I, Zach, who is Hannah’s brother, Luke Olson, who can be identified as Zach’s best friend, and two of Hannah’s other friends, Morgan Ducharme and Emily Kuck. We all had fun at the party and then once nightfall came, we all were watching movies in the Clark’s living-room and everyone had fallen asleep except Zach and I.

We were both really tired but ended up staying up till 2 o’clock in the morning, having goofy conversations and talking about random dumb stuff such as how a hook on the wall casted a funny shadow. A month later was homecoming weekend and I had broken up with my previous boyfriend and found myself dateless for the dance the next day, however I had found it quite odd of myself to be wanting the comfort of Zach’s arms when I had recently became single.

The next night was the dance and I had gotten up the courage to ask Zach to go to the dance with me, and unfortunately he said no because dances aren’t his thing but he later told me that the reason was because I made him nervous and he didn’t want to embarrass himself in front of me because he knew I really liked him. A week later I was staying the night at Hannah’s house and he asked me to be his girlfriend.

We are now still together and extremely happy, he makes me laugh all the time and I can’t help but smile when I see him walk through the door. He lights up a room and he is my best friend in life, besides Hannah, she is still my best friend and hopefully someday my sister in-law.

I get along with his family so well and they tell me all the time how much they adore my company. They make me feel so loved and supported with everything I do.

I have found my prince charming, finally. Prom is coming up and we will definitely be going together, I will hopefully be getting my dress pretty soon.

So far it has been 5 glorious months and there shall be many more to come. We may be as opposite as hot and cold or black and white, but we love each other more than anything in the world and that’s all that matters. Two weeks ago I gave him a silver pendant on a chain and told him it was the key to my heart. Forever and always, Zach and Mady. <3
