Why Have a European Vacation in the Fall

Whereas most tourists from all over the world rush to Europe for a vacation in the summer

months, there are many reasons why taking a European vacation in the fall will give you all types of delights and enjoyment. With hundreds of thousands of people crowding the tourist destinations

in Europe in the summer, it does get a bit stuffy and congested leading to an increase in the air fares, hotel room rates and all other things connected with tourism. However, as soon as the

summer rush tapers down, most of the tourist attractions become less crowded and hence, cheaper. The fall also brings with it a gradual changing of colours of the tree leaves which give a

spectacular and colourful look to the sidewalks in the various cities. This is the time to be able to visit Paris, London, Rome, Prague, and various other cities in Europe for their splendid colours. It

will give you an opportunity to mix with the locals and avail of some cheap flights and travel deals

to Europe.

Why Travel to Europe in the Fall?

Fewer People: There are five main reasons for travelling to Europe in the fall. During this period,

you will find fewer people in the various tourist attractions and as such the waiting time in the lines will be far less than in summer. You will have more time on your hands to see the various

attractions more thoroughly and even to be able to see more attractions in the limited amount of time that you have.

Better Weather: The weather in some places in Europe such as in Italy, Spain and Greece is much cooler during the fall as compared to the heat in the summer months. Such cool weather is

ideal for visiting different tourist places

Cheaper Airfares and Hotel Room Rates: Since the majority of the tourists leave by the beginning of the Fall season, airfares and hotel rates decline substantially and as such visiting the

various places in Europe becomes more economical.

Chance to Mix with Locals: If you travel to Europe during the summer, you will find that many of

the local Europeans are also on vacation having gone to other tourist destinations in the world. As such, you will not be able to mix and connect with them. However, if you travel during the Fall,

there will be a better likelihood of connecting with the locals, getting new experiences and having a

memorable time.

Discounts: Besides airfares and hotel rooms, you will find that in the Fall, all aspects of your

travel are cheaper ranging from food to entertainment options. When the demand falls and the supply remains constant, there is bound to be a drop in prices.

Best Places to Visit During Autumn `

As the climate differs considerably from one end of Europe to another, there are certain places that are best for visiting during the autumn months as they are pleasantly warm whereas there are

others that see blustery winds and short days. The places that have temperate climate include

Nice, Palemo and Cordoba that experience summer-like conditions in the early fall season. The other places that are worth visiting in the Fall include the following.

London: The capital of UK is the most desired tourist destination at all times. Whereas the flow of

traffic does drop in the winter, autumn also witnesses a lot of tourist action as the weather cools down but it is tolerable. Moreover the changing colours of the leaves give a wonderful hue to the

city. For having a comfortable stay in the heart of the city, close to various attractions, it is best to stay at hotels near Paddington. Many visitors prefer to stay at Shaftesbury Premier London

Paddington Hotel which offers comfortable accommodation at an affordable cost. Attractive hotel deals are also available because the summer rush is over and the schools have reopened.

opportunity to visit the various attractions with ease and spend some time at the art galleries appreciating the works of art.

Berlin: It is a great place to experience pleasant weather, cheaper room rates and to have a great

time at the Berlin Beer Festival in August. It costs less to fly into Berlin than flying into other European cities such as London or Paris.

Dubrovnik: Even in the Fall, the weather is still warm and there is less rush as the summer crowds have gone back. Situated along the Adriatic Coast, this Croatian city offers a wonderful

European beach destination.

Gaudi’s Parc Guel.
