Why do we lack in education?

Where we stand in the world

The USA is currently at 14th place in reading, 25th place in math and 17th place in science. With all the money we put into education do you think these numbers should be a bit higher?

What’s the problem?

• The consensus is that Americans have become lazy, they want to highest yield with the lowest amount of work.

• In the 1970’s the drive for education was much more than today.

• Americans were trying to better themselves but now no one wants work hard.

A quick look

What is happening?• As you can see in the prior graph the USA is definitely lacking for

some reason. Why are the other courtiers doing so much better?• Education in South Korea is viewed as being crucial for success and

competition is consequently very heated and fierce. A centralized administration oversees the process for the education of children from kindergarten to the third and final year of high school. Mathematics, science, Korean, social studies, and English are generally considered to be the most important subjects. Normally physical education is not considered important as it is not regarded to be education and therefore many schools lack high-quality gymnasiums and varsity athletics. South Korea was the first country in the world to provide high-speed internet access to every primary, junior, and high school.

Are kids happy in school?

• Kids spend more then half of their lives in a education institute from the age of 5-18.

Can we make it better?

• Kids are exposed to way too much media at an early age to fully immerse their selves in some sort of education

• Home life must be improved so kids know what to expect in school

• Let’s make the education more interesting for the kids

• I think we should add taxes to states to directly pay for school

The Answer?

• At this point there is no answer to our education problem

• We can look around at other countries and see prime examples of exemplary education

• Maybe it’s time to take some advice from another country other then trying to have our country figure this out on its own
