Lifts bearing this label are certified to have been tested by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) and found to meet all industry safety and performance standards as outlined in ANSI/ALI ALCTV (current edition).

Buyer Beware: It IS legal in North America to sell lifts that do not meet industry safety standards. These lifts are easy to identify by the absence of the gold label. Why put your technicians and business at risk? ALI recommends installing only certified lifts.

For a current directory of all certified lifts, visit www.ali-directory.org. Learn more about vehicle lift safety and choosing the right lift for your application at www.autolift.org.

There’s more riding on your lifts than cars and trucks. The safety of your employees, customers and business are riding on them, too. With so much depending on your lifts, it is crucial that they be inspected at least annually by a qualified lift inspector. In fact, the ANSI national standard governing lift maintenance and operation, ANSI/ALI ALOIM (current edition) mandates such inspections.

The Automotive Lift Institute (ALI) has developed the ALI Lift Inspector Certification Program: the first program in North America that independently tests and certifies vehicle lift inspectors. When you hire an ALI Certified Lift Inspector, you’re getting more than a qualified lift inspector. You’re getting the peace of mind that comes from knowing your lifts are being inspected by a true professional.

A Certified Lift Inspector follows industry best practices to thoroughly inspect any brand, model and type of vehicle lift. The inspectorwill determine if the lift is suitable for continued use or if maintenance or repair is needed. At the conclusion of the inspection, the ALI Certified Lift Inspector will provide a written inspection certificate for each lift and will affix an ALI Annual Lift Inspection Label to each lift that passes.
