I believe that if a man like him were to assumethe dictatorship of the modern world he would
succeed in solving its problems in a way thatwould bring it the much needed peace and.happiness
I have prophesied about the faith of Mohammad thatit would be acceptable to the Europe of tomorrowas it is beginning to be acceptable to the
.Europe of today He was by far the most remarkable man.that ever set foot on this earth , ,He preached a religion founded a state built a
, ,nation laid down a moral code initiated.numerous social and political reforms
He established a powerful and dynamic society topractice and represent his teachings andcompletely revolutionized the worlds of human

All human greatness rolled intooneThe personality of Mohammad! It is most difficult to get into
the truth of it. Only a glimpse of it I can catch. What a dramatic
succession of picturesque scenes. There is Mohammad the Prophet, there is Mohammadthe General; Mohammad the King; Mohammad theWarrior; Mohammad the Businessman; Mohammad thePreacher; Mohammad the Philosopher; Mohammad the
Statesman;Mohammad the Orator; Mohammad the reformer;Mohammad the Refuge of orphans; Mohammad theProtector of slaves; Mohammad the Emancipator ofwomen; Mohammad the Law-giver; Mohammad theJudge; Mohammad the Saint.
And in all these magnificent roles, in all thesedepartments of human activities, he is like, ahero..By Prof. K. S. Ramakrishna Rao, Head of the Department of Philosophy,Government College for Women University of Mysore, Mandya-571401 (Karnatika)

The world has had its share of great personalities. But these were one-sided f igures whodistinguished themselves in but one or two f ields,
(eg religious, philosophical thought, military

His Revolution was unique
Complete and Total Change
He was the Main personality behind it
He established it in his lif e time I t was not an Anti movement
Not a violent revolution (the birth of the most brilliantcivilization in the world cost no more than 750 lives)

La Martine, the renownedhistorian, speaking on theessentials of human greatness
wonders:
"Ifgreatness of purpose, smallness of means and
astounding results are the threecriteria of human genius, who could dare to compare any

La Martine.. The most famous men created arms,
laws and empires only. They founded,if anything at all, no more thanmaterial powers which often crumbledaway before their eyes.
This man (Muhammad (sas)) moved notonly armies, legislation, empires, peoples and dynasties, but millionsinhabiting more than one-third of theworld, he moved the altars, the gods, the religions, the ideas, the beliefsand souls....

La Martine.
His forbearance in victory, his ambition,
which was entirely devoted to one ideaand in no manner striving for an empire;
His endless prayers, his mystic conversationswith God, his death and his triumph afterdeath;
All these attest not to an imposture but to afirm conviction which gave him the powerto restore a dogma.
This dogma was two-fold, the unity of God
(what God is!) and the immateriality ofGod (what God is not!).
He started the mission with words thenoverthrew false gods with the sword.

His noble example After the fall of Mecca, more than one million square miles of land lay at
his feet, Lord of Arabia, he mended his own shoes and coarse woolengarments, milked the goats, swept the hearth, kindled the fire andattended the other menial offices of the family. The entire town ofMedina where he lived grew wealthy in the later days of his life.Everywhere there was gold and silver in plenty and yet in those daysof prosperity many weeks would elapse without a fire beingkindled in the hearth of the king of Arabia,
His food being dates and water. His family would go hungry many nightssuccessively because they could not get anything to eat in the evening.
He slept on no soften bed but on a palm mat, after a long busyday to spend most of his night in prayer, often bursting withtears before his creator to grant him strength to discharge hisduties.
As the reports go, his voice would get choked with weeping and it wouldappear as if a cooking pot was on fire and boiling had commenced. Onthe very day of his death his only assets were few coins a part of which
went to satisfy a debt and rest was given to a needy person who cameto his house for charity. The clothes in which he breathed his lasthad many patches. The house from where light had spread tothe world was in darkness because there was no oil in thelamp.

Circumstances changed, but the prophet of God did not. In
victory or in defeat, in power or in adversity, in affluence or
in indigence, he is the same man, disclosed the same
character. Like all the ways and laws of God, Prophets ofGod are unchangeable.
An honest man, as the saying goes, is the noblest work of
God, Mohammadwas more than honest. He was human to the
marrow of his bones. Human sympathy, human love was themusic of his soul. To serve man, to elevate man, to purify
man, to educate man, in a word to humanize man-this
was the object of his mission, the be-all and end all of his
life. In thought, in word, in action he had the good ofhumanity as his sole inspiration, his sole guiding principle.By Prof. K. S. Ramakrishna Rao, Head of the Department of Philosophy, Government College
for Women University of Mysore, Mandya-571401 (Karnatika)

Mohammad (PBUH) was nothing more or less than ahuman being. But he was a man with a noble mission, which was to unite humanity on the submission to ONEand ONLY GOD and to teach them the way to ideal and
upright living based on the commands of God.He always described himself as A Servant andMessenger God

His Humility
www.SwanseaMosque.Orgwww.SwanseaMosque.Org
Umar reported Allahs Messenger (peace be upon him) as saying, Dontexaggerate in praising me as the Christians did in praising Jesus who wasraised to the status of Allahs son. I am a servant of Allah; therefore call me aservant and Messenger of Allah.Anas said that Allahs Messenger (peace be upon him) used to visit the sick, accompany funerals, ride donkeys and accept the invitations of slaves. In the battleof Banu Quraydha, he was riding a donkey whose bridle and saddle were made ofpalm leaves. He also reported that Allahs Messenger (peace be upon him)accepted without hesitation invitations to dinners consisting of mere barley and stale
bread. Anas said that the companions of Allahs Messenger (peace be upon him)loved him more than anything in the world, but still they did not stand up when hecame in for he disliked it. Again this shows his extreme humility in that he did not likepeople standing up as they stood up for kings and rulers.
When his son Ibrahim died, by coincidence there was a solar eclipse on that day.People thought that the heavenly bodies were also sharing in the grief of the
Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). He at once gathered all the companions inthe mosque and addressed them saying, O people! Know this, that the solareclipse is one of the signs of Allah. It does not occur because of the birth or death ofanyone.
