It has been forty-six years since one of the most important archeological discoveries of all time: the finding of King Tutankhamen’s tomb. Archeologists and Medical Scientists have been longing to examine the remains of the much-forgotten Pharaoh, who was barely a foot note in the historical books on Ancient Egypt. Early in the 1960s their requests were granted. They used the latest in x-ray technology to examine the mummified corpse. Now, in 1968, they have come to the conclusion that the death was of the most unnatural sort: murder. Blunt force trauma to the back of the head. You are a young reporter for Time Magazine in the United States. You have been put on special assignment to write the cover story for next month’s edition, covering this monumental event. Your boss has arranged “behind the scenes” access to examine the artifacts surrounding the death of King Tutankhamen, to help you write this ground breaking report. The Assignment Your report is aimed a group of people who have heard a little bit about Ancient Egypt, but do not know much about it.
