Last Friday, God moved mightilyin Brgy. Matab-ang. Godspresence was great and He hasindeed given us victory!

The irst ever LIFE Concert heldat the Matab-ang Covered Court was a big success. PC shared

LIFE: Gods messageabout Gods gift of life to everyone,as stated in John 10:10, I havecome that you might have life andto have it more abundantly. Theteam ministered to the crowd andwe saw how His spirit touchedthose who opened up their heartsto God.

Earlier that week, last Sunday, asmall group gathering was held at the Kuya Arnels familys compound

and we were really blessed!Pastor Alma shared about theparable of the sower while therest of the team organized afun program for the kids.

God will do more for Brgy.Matab-ang and help us prayfor more of Gods move andblessings to low in the place.Thank you for everyone whosupported this mission!

it is the young pro essionalsturn! Last Wednesday, URBAN,the o fcial young pro essionalsgroup o WHM, brainstormed ortheir upcoming monthly event tobe held at MO2 Wave Lounge. Itwould be a pre-valentine eventthemed Work, Pray, Love. Itaims to restore the signifcanceo keeping love strong in li e,especially to the busy youngpro essionals. To all hardworkingsingles and couples, mark yourcalendars and be ready or thenewest thing in town!

For the past two years, FUSIONhas successfully held its Valen -tines special event called LetsTalk About Love. During the

rst event last 2009, 500 young people gathered at Mayfair Plaza,while for the succeeding year,the event was held in three loca -

tions (Silay, Bacolod and Tal -isay), at three different dates.

This year, its gonna go big -ger as it will be touring to ninedifferent campuses and loca -tions, at different dates as well!The rst one will be on Feb. 4and will continue every week until March. RBLMHS will

be the rst high school to bevisited, and everyone is so ex -cited about it! We are expectinga bigger crowd this year, andwe are open for your support!

HOW DOES GOD TALK TO US?.GOD SPEAKS THROUGH THE BIBLE.

2 Timothy 3:16 The whole Bible was given to us by inspiration from God ands useful to teach us what is true and make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It is

Gods way of making us well prepared at every point.

2. GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH GIFTED TEACHERS.I Thessalonians 2:13 When we preached to you, you didnt think of the

words as being just our own, but you accepted it as the very Word of God --which, of course, it was -- and it changed your lives.

3. GOD SPEAKS THROUGH IMPRESSIONSJohn 14:26 The Holy Spirit will be your teacher and will bring to your mind

all that I have said to you.

4. GOD SPEAKS THROUGH PAIN.Proverbs 20:30 Sometimes it takes a painful experience to make us change

our ways.

Why is it so important to really hear God speak?Three reasons:1. It is assures me that Im in Gods family.2. It protects me from mistakes.3. It is the secret of a productive life, listening to God on a moment by moment

basis.

Pain gets our attention. Its Gods hearing aid. God whispers to us in our pleasures. But He shouts to us in our pain. Pain is Gods megaphone.
