How to make a blog for kids? The first thing you have to ask yourself is who is going to write the blog, you or your kids? If the answer is your kids, then you are in the right place, you can start a blog inspired by your own kid, and if your child is too young to compose by its own you two can work together to create something fantastic. Try this tips if you want to start a blog for kids:

1. Choose a Niche:whether it is cooking, gardening or even daily rants and raves. Consider choosing a niche that both your child and you are interested in and can do together. This means, an specific topic like for example post things related to painting, traveling, games, etc.

2. Decide on the Perfect Domain Name:

Ask your little one for ideas on the domain name. You want to select something that is easy for people to remember. Even if you cannot think of something fun and creative, your child may have the perfect name for your blog and domain. Once you decide on the perfect name, you can buy the domain and get started with setting up everything, such as the pictures and content.

3. Come Up With Creative Posts!

It is sometimes difficult to come up with topics on a daily basis, so sit down together with your child and try to come up with a whole list of different creative posts you can complete with one another. Get plenty of input from your little one to make sure he or she feels involved. After all, you are trying to start a blog for kids, and who better to have helping you with that process than your own child.

4. Work Together on Projects for Posts:

Do not forget to work with your child on each post. You may have to do most of the typing if your child is a bit young, but you can still add his or her opinion to the posts. And, if you are completing do-it-yourself projects together, be sure to take plenty of pictures of the different activities. Your readers will love to see all the fun activities they can try at home too.

My

Page 14: Whitney cabral blogging for kids..pptx copia

I believe that blogging is an amazing resource to share information with students.

it is a great way to share articles, texts, books, homeworks, importan information and notes of the class and a great way to

keep everybody in track of what is going on in our class (including parents) also to ask

and answer questions related to class topics and/or class discussions. However, I have to admit that I would not use this resource with students whose ages are 13 and under and I would not encourage them to create a blog of their own if their age does not exceed at least 14 years old. Why? Because even if

you really are on top of the security aspect you will not always control what they can be

exposed to, also at those ages I consider that is better to work with other types of resources that are real and Tangible and

necessary for their motor skills development.

But I do support the blogs that are made by parents and children , because in this case, the kids can collaborate and

still learn some 21st Century skills but the responsibility and the control lies on

the parent, but usually this types of blogs are not fully oriented to academic

purposes (By this Im not saying that they don’t exist because I know that

they do) For example my favorite Mom-Daughter blog, her daughter is an

important part of the blog because she collaborates with her mom and inspire

her, but this blog it is related to fashion, hair, travel, and things like that.
