Kaltis® is a manufacturer of refrigera-tion products, with a 25 year track re-cord of product excellence. We spe-cialize in a range of state of the art, chest and upright, Ultra Low Temperature Freez-ers, which offer some unique operating features, long term reliability and minimal maintenance costs. Our product range consists of 9 models, in two product ranges. All models offer space saving, are energy efficient, quiet and dependable.

We design, develop and manufacture in house, advanced ULT refrigeration sys-tems capable of temperatures, regardless of environmental conditions. Because Kaltis® only manufactures ULT freezers; we focus on innovation and quality, utiliz-ing the latest technologies to guarantee reliable, environmentally friendly products.

Kaltis® uses a cascade refrigeration system with two environmentally friendly refrigerants for the high cascade and low cascade systems. Both refrigerants are available worldwide. Our proprietary lubrication systems ensure maximum

miscibility and stability of refrigerant. flow, maximizing heat removal from the sam-ple storage chamber. Kaltis® uses a custom designed capillary system which controls the flow of liquid-state refrigerant into the evaporator surrounding the stor-age area. A carefully controlled pressure and temperature drop is achieved ensur-ing even cooling over the entire chamber.

VersaTrak – an automatic manage-ment solution for recording the refrig-erated storage temperatures of blood and perishable medicines using wireless 868MHz radio or WiFi enabled sensors. Any number of VersaTrak sensors can con-nect via Access Points using a standard 802.11b/g Wi-Fi network to securely transmit their encrypted data to the VersaTrak software on a networked computer. This avoids the cost of additional signal repeaters and base stations to create an overlay network typical-ly required by most other wireless systems.These self-contained battery operated trans-mitters with multiple inputs cover temperature ranges -200°C to +200°C, plus Humidity, Pressure and C02 options. Integrated data logging acts as a back-up to network break-downs while local audible and visual alarms alert personnel at the monitoring location. Spe-cific SMS, Email or Voice messaging alarms can be configured through the software.

Patented automatic self-calibration tech-nology provides regular temperature ac-curacy checks against internal certified reference points - eliminating the cost of regular engineer visits for accuracy validation.VersaTrak users can view current data in real time via their PC browser using coloured sta-tus indicators with easy access to historical data; reports being generated automatically and sent directly to recipients’ mail boxes.

Analysers

The “RTR-500 Series” provides a ver-satile set of devices that allow you to manage temperature and humidity data like never before; from places you never thought possible. Moreover, with three types of Data Logger and two types of Base Unit you can configure a system to meet your needs and environment.

The measuring and recording is taken care of by the loggers: the “RTR-501” with one internal temperature sensor, the “RTR-502” which uses one of our external temperature sensors, and/or the “RTR-503” with one channel for temperature and one for humidity. The recorded data, current readings and warnings can then be easily retrieved via wireless communication by one of our Base Units: the “RTR-500 GSM” or the “RTR-500”.

The “RTR-500GSM” with its built-in GSM networking capabilities makes it possible to collect data, check measurements and get warnings from almost anywhere at anytime, even from distant places where no conven-tional network environment can be set up. The “RTR-500” utilizes a high-speed USB connection for direct PC access to recorded data, current measurements and warnings, all of which can be automatically sent via e-mail or FTP to designated places or persons.
