Congratulations to Daughters of the Forest, Daughters of Fire and Daughters of the Rocky Mountains....our new Trail Maiden Circles. You all were brave, good sports at Proof of Bravery and we thoroughly enjoyed laughing with you as you did your stunts. I hope the Blazing ceremony was as meaningful to you as it has been to me. Trail Maidens is an awesome program with new experiences and growth opportunities and I look forward to many great memories with all of you. Keep an eye opened in both your email and snail-mail for important dates, deadlines and info on future events.

Pathfinders
Jennifer and I have had quite a few requests for new walking sticks! We feel that the Walking Stick Program is really worthwhile and helps our girls to develop important skills. We're so glad there is a rekindled interest in it.
We are COMPLETELY ABLE to add bead and ribbon awards to the old sticks! We understand that many of the girls have already invested a lot of time and money into them and they have great sentimental value - please do not feel that you must purchase a new stick to complete the program! If you ARE interested in updating your old stick/awards to a new one - PLEASE CALL US (Jennifer Barnes 340-3544 or Kati Brockman 340-0775) to discuss details and costs. With so many new sticks to be created for Winter Camp - we are asking all participants in these cases to please turn in their requests (with any additional fees required) as soon as possible. We will then be able to start working on them right away. Forms are available via email or printed at Base Camp. Thank you all so much for your support and complements! We're both excited for our girls, our circle, and our expedition. We look forward to our year serving as your Expedition Pathfinders! FRIENDS FOREVER ~Jennifer Barnes (Periwinkle)

Dear Daughters of the Ocean, You are some of our sweetest friends. Michelle and I would like to thank you for everything you have done fore us the the last three years. Our friendship is like a jewel, one of the rarest kind, a treasure most cherished, the best you'll ever find. One of the most precious gifts you could ever receive. For the bonding of woman is not easy to achieve. We feel we have these special sisters that will for ever be in our hearts. how lucky we are to have friends that can make you laugh out loud even when there’s no one around. It's amazing to see all you young woman grow the way you have over the last three years. Another inch taller, another shoe size too small, another grade that passes, new supplies for new classes, another book that is read, new words to comprehend, another birthday gift opened, another day I am hoping, another tear in my eye will slow these years going by. It will never be goodbye just see you later, we love you very much and we are so very proud of the friends that we have found. Love always, Adelaida & Michelle

From DOLSWe got together and took down the purple ribbons that were put up in August then headed over for a treat at Berry sweet at our fist meeting of the month. We got together with the ladies from Legends of the trails to plan our Fall Camp Adventures and meals. We had a blast at fall camp. Thanks Terri for those great tokens. Thanks to the Garden Friends and Circle of Fire for the awesome fun games. Most of all thanks to our high school daughters who still enjoy and want to spend time with us. We had a great time with you. The girls will be working on the photography badge and look forward to our next outing.

Dear Jumping Frisky Fish and Frolicking Frog,Mommy is so glad that you two can now join your sister, Blooming Daffodil, to Garden Friends. You fit in so well and know your Friends Forever song by heart. Mommy welcomes you and can't wait for all the fun times we have in store,Love you all, Blossoming Daylily
Daughters of Fire -We had a great time with COF at fall camp and will miss you guys.
We had our first DOF meeting and during that meeting we started making plans for the end of this year and the beginning of next. We are using the idea of April and Shelby to make matching sweat shirts. We have some ideas about our circle banner. We are working on three badges. The music badge, the reading badge and the swimming badge. We can't wait to start making our movie. We're planning on attending the ghost walk. We are having a lot of fun, but being a trail maiden circle with four people is a little hard.Dancing Flames, Mikayla

To my wonderful daughter Felicia,I'm proud to call myself your mother. I had the most memorable time at camp because of you. I can't believe 6 years have gone by so quickly! I'm happy to say that I didn't miss the opportunity of watching you grow. Being a part of this program has given us the chance to do so much together. I'm excited to be moving on to Trail Maidens and sharing new adventures with you. God has given me the wonderful gift of motherhood and I will continue to cherish it.You are my love my little Nutty Squirrel!Forever, your Chatty Squirrel
Dear Shinning Waterfall and Sparkling Creek, It made so
happy that you came to Fall Camp. All of the moms there
were proud of their daughters but no one could have been
more proud than me. What an honor to have my grown
maidens come and Blaze Out fifteen years later! You are
still and always will be my greatest pride and joy. I have
learned so much from having you as my maidens. Like
Terri said, “It is time for you to show your Tau the way.”
