1 Prep hair with L’Oréal Professionnel Tecni.ART PLI and create a deep side-parting with a pin tail comb. Blow dry the hair under using a bristle brush.

2 Using a classic barrel tong, starting with the sides, take the top sections of hair and clamp the tong on the ends. Wind the barrel up, leave for 10 seconds and pin up if required. Repeat through the lower side sections of hair.

TIP: thicker sections of hair will make the style more modern, thinner sections will be more retro.

3 Once sides are tonged, repeat at back of head, again starting from the top sections and working down. After

pinning, allow hair to cool for 5-10 minutes depending on thickness of hair. Lightly spray L’Oréal Professionnel Tecni.ART AIR FIX for added hold.

4 Take pins out and brush each section out individually. Using a flat brush, brush all hair back and shake forwards. Back-comb the underneath sections of hair, leaving the top. Spritz hair with L’Oréal Professionnel Tecni.ART BEACH WAVE for added texture and hold.
