Collection

SS15 takes its inspiration from real life: from busy mornings, sophisticated dinner parties, relaxed weekends and long days at work. However, this wearability is never at the expense of perfection, attitude or elegance. This is WHIITE’s commitment to quality and craftmanship.

WHIITE has become known for its playful contrast between male and female, challenging the perception of what is masculine and what is feminine. The result is a collection that is both playful and thought-provoking in terms of its composition and the way in which the male/female persona is presented. The overall look is cool and laid back, but still very elegant.

Key to the collection is a long and slender silhouette. The waist is in focus and the length sits below the knee. This is reflected across a number of statement pieces including a cool midi skirt in denim and a baggy bermudas in a bold floral print. The contrast in shapes is apparent across jackets and dresses which are draped at the back but with a slender silhouette at the front.

With the season in mind, the fabrics are light and are perfect for warm summer days and are easy to wear.

WHIITE has explored new ways of combining colours and one consistent colour that can be seen across the whole collection is a dusty lave.

Inspiration

Inspiration for the SS15 collection comes from a woman’s innate sense of being herself: from her everyday life, her work commitments and to what she does in her spare time. The WHIITE woman is always elegant and sophisticated, but she has an edge. She is passionate about quality and never compromises.

February

Summer is getting closer and the colours are becoming more intense. A beautifully printed jacquard in burnt colours will encapsulate this sense perfectly once the first traces of sun start to show on the skin. The colours are based around the jacquard fabric, giving a spring-like feeling to this elegant fabric.

Key colours: plum perfect, nirvana lavender, milky yellow, aqua and jungle green.

Summer is finally at its most beautiful. Lavender, a consistent colour throughout the entire collection, remains significant. This, combined with the deeper and more burnt out colours, ties the collection together effortlessly, picking out styles and colours from the earlier styles.

Key colours: lavender and plum perfect.

January

Winter is coming to an end and spring is in sight. Navy is an essential colour and can be combined perfectly with an off-white and douce blue colour, to create a beautiful and elegant look. Contrasts are in focus with stand-out structures in tweed and a refined graphic lace in light blue and navy.

Key colours : blue nights, quarry, doe skin and moonbeam.

As a way of introducing the new season, the collection comprises light fabrics featuring beautiful prints including a blurred check and an elegant, dotted viscose jersey. A key piece in the collection - the midi denim skirt - gives the collection an edgier look when combined with more feminine tops. Whilst it’s not spring yet, the fabrics reflect the fact that winter is starting to retract.
