Allocation of host universities and application information:

• Plan Ahead! Application form – deadline 1st February

• Do your Research! You must give 5 choices of university, and for each

choice you must include a list of modules you would like to take there

• Be flexible! We cannot guarantee you a place at your preferred host

university but every effort will be made to place you at one of your choices.

• How we allocate: Places are allocated on the basis of your 1st year marks

Assessment:

Full year studying at a host university:

50%: marks you receive at your host university

50%: 15 minute oral exam on return to Exeter

Split placement study and work:

15% - Portfolio

30% - 3 Reports in the target language

30% - Oral Exam 

25% - marks received at host university
