In everything you do, put God first.

Life is beautiful and living in it is wonderful. No matter how hard

or dark it seems, as long as we live and breathe, there is always hope

and we can always move forward to reach our dreams.

Life is a precious gift from God that we can use to gain more

knowledge, wisdom, understanding and insight about the things

around us. It also gives us more opportunities to spend time with our

family, loved ones, and the people or the world we want to inspire.

Having a long life is not just about being physically healthy and

financially capable but it also involves mental and spiritual nurturing.

The Lord has gifted your body with the remarkable ability to

heal itself under the right conditions. You need to feed it wholesome

food, drink clean water and breathe pure air.

Sadly, finding these things is all but impossible in our fallen world

as toxic chemicals have overtaken our soil and atmosphere. In spite

of our efforts (and great expense) to purchase essential products for

a healthy home, we still get sick and God is here to bless you with His

healing touch when you need it.

Where to look in the BIBLE to find these Verses

INTRODUCTION

TOPIC 1

Honor your parents “Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.” – Ephesians 6:2-3 (KJV)

Keep God’s commandments “My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.” – Proverbs 3:1-2 (KJV)

“Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, for ever.” – Deuteronomy 4:40 (KJV)

Have wisdom “Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.” – Proverbs 3:13-16 (KJV)

Long Life

If you want to live longer on Earth,

here are the verses from the Bible that

will guide you to the fountain of life.

4

Always be fair and just “But thou shalt have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure shalt thou have: that thy days may be lengthened in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.” – Deuteronomy 25:15 (KJV)

Have understanding “Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly. The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips. Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.” – Proverbs 16:22-24 (KJV)

Worship God “Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you, and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span.” – Exodus 23:25-26 (NIV)

Be a God-fearing person “The fear of the Lord adds length to life, but the years of the wicked are cut short. – Proverbs 10:27 (NIV)

Believe in the Lord “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16 (KJV)

1 Peter 3:10

For “Whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit;

TOPIC 2

He said, “If you will diligently listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, your healer.”

~ Exodus 15:26

If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and

pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

~ 2 Chronicles 7:14

He sent out His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction.

~ Psalm 107:20 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

~ Psalm 147:3

Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.

~ Proverbs 16:24 My son, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings.

Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their flesh.

~ Proverbs 4:20-22 A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the

bones.

Healing

We can rely on God’s power, to not only heal our

emotional pain but for physical healing as well. These

are the best healing Bible verses to meditate on. May

they encourage you with whatever emotional,

spiritual, or physical healing you need today.

6

~ Proverbs 17:22 For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter

under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up.

~ Ecclesiastes 3:1-3 ‘I have seen what they do, but I will heal them anyway! I will lead

them. I will comfort those who mourn, bringing words of praise to their lips. May they have abundant peace, both near and far,' says the Lord, who heals them.

~ Isaiah 57: 18-19 Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing

will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.

~ Isaiah 58:8 Behold, I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal them

and reveal to them abundance of prosperity and security. ~ Jeremiah 33:6

Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.

~ James 5:14-15 Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one

another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

~ James 5:16 Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all

may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. ~ 3 John 1:2

TOPIC 3

1 Thessalonians 2:12 (NIV)

…Encouraging, comforting and urging you to live lives worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory.

No matter how successful we become in business, we must always seek to be shining examples of God’s light and love.

Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Every step in life and in business had already been ordered for us before we were even born.. He gives us just glimpse through visions and dreams, and his plan for us all is to live a prosperous life.

Psalm 37:23-24 (NIV)

The LORD makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand.

Success

By growing and using our faith & trust

in the Lord we can be strengthened to

fulfill His will for our lives- this is true

success.

8

Running your business will challenge you in ways you never considered. There will be days when you stumble, but God will always be there to catch you and lift you back up.

Psalm 23: 5-6 (KJV)

….Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

When you are in business you will develop haters, but it is important that you realize that you don’t have to handle your detractors yourself. God will bless you right in front of them. All you can do with your haters is pray for them.

1 Timothy 6:12 (NIV)

Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

Faith is the key in business and in a lifetime of happiness. He died for us on the cross, for the remission of our sin, and that we would have everlasting life.

II Corinthians 12:9-11 (NIV)

But he said to me, my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

It is in our weakness that God makes us strong. So we will always have challenges because it is in those times God wants us to lean on him for strength.

9

TOPIC 4

Joshua 1:9

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be

frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you

wherever you go.”

Lamentations 3:22-23

“The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never

come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

Proverbs 3:5-6

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own

understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight

your paths.”

Proverbs 18:10

“The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous man runs

into it and is safe.”

Psalm 16:8

“I have set the LORD always before me; because he is at my right

hand, I shall not be shaken.”

Encouragement

God not only reveals himself to us through the Bible.

He also preserved the Bible to encourage us through the

Scriptures so that “we might have hope”. The Bible is a

supernatural book, and the words in its pages have been

written down to lead you to Christ and fill you with hope in

Him.

10

Psalm 23:4

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will

fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Isaiah 40:31

But they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall

mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall

walk and not faint.”

Isaiah 41:10

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will

strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right

hand.”

Isaiah 43:2

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through

the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you

shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.”

Matthew 11:28

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you

rest.”

Mark 10:27

“Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man it is impossible, but not

with God. For all things are possible with God.’”

Philippians 4:19

“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches

in glory in Christ Jesus.”

11

TOPIC 5

1 Tim. 6:10

Money is not the root of all evil. But the love of money is the root of all

evil.

(Money doesn’t have a life. It cannot act on its own. It cannot do good deeds, and

it cannot commit crimes. Basically, it’s neither good or bad).

Luke 12:34

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also”.

(When it comes to money, we will either worship wealth or worship with our

wealth. Money itself may be amoral. But it’s our attachment to and our worship of

money that will lead us into sin and making poor financial decisions.).

Exodus 19:5

Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my

covenant, you shall be my treasured possession among all peoples, for all

the earth is mine.

Money

Even though money isn’t an essential thing in

your life. A significant portion of your life will revolve

around earning, saving, giving, and spending money.

So your relationship with money isn’t something you

can just brush aside as unspiritual or unnecessary.

12

Job 41:11

Who has first given to me, that I should repay him? Whatever is

under the whole heaven is mine.

Psalm 24:1

The earth is the LORD’s and the fullness thereof, the world and those

who dwell therein,

(God doesn’t talk about money because he’s broke and needs a helping hand.

Far from it, God owns everything. Since God is the rightful owner of everything we have,

this means the money we earn actually belongs to God. Practically speaking, God calls

us to manage the money we accumulate on his behalf).

Philippians 4:11-12

"Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in

whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I

know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the

secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need."

(Regardless of how much—or how little—money you have, God is at work in your

life through your circumstances. He is leading you to a deeper trust in him).

Matthew 6:24

“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and

love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You

cannot serve God and money.”

Luke 12:34

"For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”

13

Luke 16:11-12

"If then you have not been faithful in the unrighteous wealth, who will

entrust to you the true riches? And if you have not been faithful in that

which is another’s, who will give you that which is your own?"

1 Samuel 2:7

"The LORD makes poor and makes rich; he brings low and he

exalts.”

(When it comes to money, wealthy people are not the only ones who will be

tempted to sin. Regardless of how much money you have, you’ll be tempted to sin in

different ways. Instead of placing your hope in money or whatever generates income,

place your hope in God. He owns everything, and he will provide you with what you

need to live your life for him).

Job 36:11

"If they listen and serve him, they complete their days in prosperity,

and their years in pleasantness.”

Proverbs 19:23

"The fear of the LORD leads to life, and whoever has it rests

satisfied; he will not be visited by harm.”

Psalm 37:16-17

"Better is the little that the righteous has than the abundance of many

wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the LORD upholds

the righteous.”

14

2 Corinthians 12:9-10

"But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is

made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my

weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of

Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships,

persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

Philippians 4:11-13

"Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in

whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I

know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the

secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things

through him who strengthens me.”

1Timothy 6:6-12

"But godliness with contentment is great gain, or we brought nothing

into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have

food and clothing, with these we will be content. But those who desire to be

rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful

desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money

is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have

wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.”

But as for you, O man of God, flee these things. Pursue

righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness. Fight the

good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called

and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many

witnesses."

15

(It’s difficult to be content—with yourself, with your work, with your family, and

with your possessions. Discontentment may not sound like a big deal on the surface.

But it’s a subtle sin leading us to desire more or something different, yet it leaves us

lacking and empty-handed in the end. Contentment is more than just being happy with

who you are and what you have—contentment is rooted in God’s love for you. It's

learning to be satisfied wholly in Christ regardless if you have a little or a lot of money).

16

God created us to work. Not in a sadistic

sense to do his bidding or face his wrath. But to

subdue the earth and have dominion over every

living creature. In other words, all of life, culture,

and work is to reflect the beauty and glory of God.

This is the emphasis of work throughout the Bible.

TOPIC 6

Deuteronomy 24:14

“You shall not oppress a hired worker who is poor and needy,

whether he is one of your brothers or one of the sojourners who are in your

land within your towns.”

Proverbs 6:6-11

“Go to the ant, O sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise. Without

having any chief, officer, or ruler, she prepares her bread in summer and

gathers her food in harvest. How long will you lie there, O sluggard? When

will you arise from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding

of the hands to rest, and poverty will come upon you like a robber, and

want like an armed man.”

Proverbs 10:4

“A slack hand causes poverty, but the hand of the diligent makes

rich.”

Work

17

Proverbs 12:11

“Whoever works his land will have plenty of bread, but he who follows

worthless pursuits lacks sense.”

Proverbs 12:24

“The hand of the diligent will rule, while the slothful will be put to

forced labor.”

Proverbs 13:4

“The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of

the diligent is richly supplied.”

Proverbs 14:23

“In all toil there is profit, but mere talk tends only to poverty.”

Ecclesiastes 9:10

“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for there is

no work or thought or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol, to which you are

going.”

Ephesians 4:28

“Let the thief no longer steal, but rather let him labor, doing honest

work with his own hands, so that he may have something to share with

anyone in need.”

2 Thessalonians 3:10-11

“For even when we were with you, we would give you this command:

If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat. For we hear that some

among you walk in idleness, not busy at work, but busybodies.”

18

TOPIC 7

Exodus 35:35

He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers,

designers, embroiderers in blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and

weavers—all of them skilled workers and designers.

Exodus 23:12

Six days do your work, but on the seventh day do not work, so that

your ox and your donkey may rest, and so that the slave born in your

household and the foreigner living among you may be refreshed.

Genesis 2:15

The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to

work it and take care of it.

Leviticus 19:13

Do not defraud or rob your neighbor. Do not hold back the wages of a

hired worker overnight.

Business

19

Deuteronomy 25:13-15

Do not have two differing weights in your bag—one heavy, one light.

Do not have two differing measures in your house—one large, one small.

You must have accurate and honest weights and measures, so that you

may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.

James 5:4

Look! The wages you failed to pay the workers who mowed your

fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached

the ears of the Lord Almighty.

Colossians 4:1

Masters, provide your slaves with what is right and fair, because you

know that you also have a Master in heaven.

Luke 16:10

Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with

much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with

much.

Psalm 112:5

Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice.

Proverbs 10:4

Poor is he who works with a negligent hand, but the hand of the diligent makes rich.

20

Proverbs 11:1

The Lord detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with him.

Proverbs 13:11

Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.

Proverbs 16:8

Better a little with righteousness than much gain with injustice.

Proverbs 22:16

One who oppresses the poor to increase his wealth and one who gives gifts to the rich—both come to poverty.

Jeremiah 22:13

Woe to him who builds his palace by unrighteousness, his upper rooms by injustice, making his own people work for nothing, not paying them for their labor.

1 Timothy 5:18

For Scripture says, “Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain,” and “The worker deserves his wages.”

21

TOPIC 8

Colossians 4:5

Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of time.

Ephesians 5:15-17

So, then, be careful how you live. Do not be unwise but wise,

making the best use of your time because the times are evil. Therefore, do

not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.

Ecclesiastes 3:11

Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has

planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the

whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.

Proverbs 27:1

Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may

bring.

Time

God set the stars, sun, and moon for His

glory but also for our practical use and that was

to set the times and seasons by use of the

heavens.

22

Proverbs 6:6-8

Consider the ant, you lazy bum. Watch its ways, and become wise. Although it has no overseer, officer, or ruler, in summertime it stores its food supply. At harvest time it gathers its food.

James 4:13-14

Now listen, you who say, Today or tomorrow we will go to such and

such a town, stay there a year, conduct business, and make money. You

do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? You are a mist that

appears for a little while and then vanishes.

Psalm 55:16-17

But I will call on God, and the LORD will rescue me. Morning, noon,

and night I cry out in my distress, and the LORD hears my voice.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-2

There is a season for everything, and a time for every event under

heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to

uproot what was planted.

“Short as life is, we make it still shorter by the careless waste of time.”

– Victor Hugo Save the excuses. It’s not about “having” time. It’s about making

time. If it matters, you will make time. “You have eternity to enjoy the honeymoon, but only a short time to

prepare for the wedding.” Woodrow Kroll

23

TOPIC 9

Romans 13:8

Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love

one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.

Psalm 37:21

The wicked borrow and do not repay, but the righteous give

generously.

Romans 13:7

Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if

revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

Debt

Everyone with even a little bit of debt has to

manage their debt. If you just have a little

debt, you have to keep up your payments

and make sure it doesn’t get out of control.

24

Luke 6:30

Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to

you, do not demand it back.

Deuteronomy 15:6

For the Lord your God will bless you as he has promised, and you will

lend to many nations but will borrow from none. You will rule over many

Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,

when it is in your power to act.

25

Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who

loves another has fulfilled the law.

Numbers 30:2

If a man vows a vow to the LORD, or swears an oath to bind himself

by a pledge, he shall not break his word. He shall do according to all that

proceeds out of his mouth.

Proverbs 3:28

Do not say to your neighbor, “Go, and come again, tomorrow I will

give it”—when you have it with you.

Proverbs 22:26-27

Be not one of those who give pledges, who put up security for debts.

If you have nothing with which to pay, why should your bed be taken from

under you?

Leviticus 19:11

“You shall not steal; you shall not deal falsely; you shall not lie to one

another.

26

TOPIC 10

Isaiah 41:10

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will

strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right

hand.

Philippians 4:6-8

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and

supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your

hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true,

whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is

lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is

anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

Depression

Depression can be severe and life-altering,

affecting the quality of life and the happiness

of those who live with it. It’s also a common

condition.

27

1 Peter 5:7

Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own

understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight

your paths.

Proverbs 12:25

Anxiety in a man's heart weighs him down, but a good word makes

him glad.

Joshua 1:9

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be

frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you

wherever you go.”

Romans 5:3-5

More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering

produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character

produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love

has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been

given to us.
