focused snapshot of the development and evolvement
of research that has influenced healthcare policy.
The track record of STII/ANF Scholars with regard to
the continuation of their research with NIH and other
funding and impact on health care policy is
noteworthy.
These exemplars are a testimony to the value of seed
money for nursing research and their ultimate
contribution to nursing science

Conclusions
Only two STTI/ANF scholars were international with
both from Canada
One STTI/ANF is at the University of Cairo
The recipient for the 2012 STTI/ANF grant is from
Hong Kong and focusing on Chinese Americans view
of physical discipline.
ANF (When a study involves human subjects, IRB
approval from a US university or agency or country of
origin is required; if applicable, from each site where
the study or portions of the study will be conducted).
