Already in-house emergency response team established in most PIBs Standardise all CERTs in terms of structures , roles, competency

Consistency Enhance operational synergy between CERTs & SCDF forces

Work group comprising members from SCDF, FSMAS, industry representatives formed in Feb 2010 Assessed current in-house emergency capability of PIBs Discussed extension of CERT scheme

Aims to complete the build up of CERT by end Aug 2011 Validation of CERT competency on selected premises from Sep 2011

In-house Emergency Equipment Equipment identified inside the EP and be

sufficient to manage the worst credible scenarios identified

Main types of equipmentPersonal protective equipment (PPE)

Emergency response equipment

Communication equipment

Equipment should be regularly maintained and stored in accessible locations
