Shakespeare’s® tactical vehicle antennas

are advanced broadband, vertically polarized

antennas for the VHF 30-108 MHz bands. Our

most advanced designs, the 4242-MK2A and

4242-MK3, feature high performance and an

improved power rating. These high-performance

broadband antennas are ideally suited for use

on personnel carriers, tanks, shelters, and other

tactical vehicles. They maintain a VSWR of better

than 3.5:1 over the entire frequency spectrum.

Today’s versatile radios demand equal versatility in antenna technology for quality communication

over every available band. Versatility and simplicity are paramount, and that’s what you get with

Shakespeare® antennas. We provide optimal signal and transmission strength with a minimal antenna

requirement to satisfy this demand. For vehicular, ground and manpack platforms, there’s less to see

and to maintain. Shakespeare L and C band antenna features include:

and is proud to offer a line of light weight, highly

portable mast systems developed for man

portable tactical use. The system is designed

to minimize the size and weight of package

carried by the user and is significantly lighter

than any comparable system currently available.

Quick and simple to deploy and may be used

either fully extended or partially rolled out for

shorter deployment length. Unlike metal or

carbon composite masts, the thermal signature

of BRC masts is minimal. Available in a variety

of diameters and lengths, this highly versatile

system can be used to extend antennas,

cameras, sensors or most any device. Also

available are tripod and personnel recovery

Cobham Mast Systems of Finland.

They are specifically designed for

the customer’s unique

requirements for tactical or general

communications systems, civil

defense, disaster preparedness,

police and emergency work. Every

mast detail and guy assembly is

designed to resist external forces

and to ensure quick and safe operation.

The masts perform excellently in arctic, tropical

and desert environments. The mast

is a push up model and can be

supplemented with mounting kits for

vehicles and shelters as well as a

variety of other ancillary equipment.

TM light weight telescopic masts extend

to 12 meters for top loads to 11 lbs;

TR masts extend to 12 meters for loads

up to 17 lbs.

Shakespeare’s® series of lightweight aluminum

masts are precision engineered and designed

to meet the most exacting tasks of modern

communications offered in manual (push-up)

or pneumatic models. Although primarily

for military use to support various types of

antennas, these masts are used in a wide range

of alternative applications, including support

of remote controlled TV and CCTV cameras,

public address loudspeakers, floodlights and

emergency lighting for airfields and construction

sites. The masts are manufactured from high

tensile aluminum alloy, the standard 8, 10 and

12m masts comprise of eight sections to ensure

a combination of minimum weight,

minimum retracted height and

maximum strength. Each section is

positively locked in its full or partially

extended position by a specially

designed friction clamp. This clamp

is a particular feature of these masts

and provides a positive self-aligning

clamping force actuated by a lever

forming part of an over-center toggle

arrangement.

Shakespeare® offers a Transportable Ground

Stake Antenna Kit which can be used with the

highly versatile Model 120 HF antenna system

providing a vertically erected ground station

antenna system. The Model 120-60 utilizes the

eight section AT-1011/U whip, adding a ground

stake base assembly, guy rope assembly, and

ground plane wires. it comes with a canvas

carrying case for safe transport of the antenna kit.
