ASS06 control unit is a part of whell slip protection system DAKO PE06 - MSV that was certified as an element of interoperability according to Regulation of European Parliament and Council 2008/57/ES as amended in Directives 2009/161/ES and 2001/18/EU. The wheel slip protection control unit can be applied at 2 or 4 axle railway
vehicles with disk or block brake system with separate brake cylinders for
every axle or cylinders for the whole bogie. Standard control unit ASS06
uses speed sensors DAKO FE1.4 and three-state pneumatic valves DAKO N8.
The modified control units ASS06 can be applied with other types of speed
sensors or pneumatic valves. For vehicles with more than 4 axles or on
electric or diesel units, two or three ASS06 control units should be used.

The control unit ASS06.1 is placed in 6U height case, the unit ASS06.2 consists
of plug-in cards in standard 19“ 3U height rack. The control units ASS06 are
available for vehicles with board voltage of 24 V, 36 V, 48 V and 110 V DC.
ASS06 control unit are equipped with OLED graphic display and push-buttons
for local diagnostic and tests. Errors are logged in memory to be reviewed
either manually on build-in display or via connected PC. ASS06 can be
connected via CAN communication line to Vehicle Control Computer.
