Whatley Season Schedule1
Dear Friends,
Change is in the air! As promised last year, over the last few months the seats and old carpet were removed from the auditorium and now we
have a totally new look. It’s exciting and I can’t wait for you to see it! We always try to focus on quality entertainment and hope you will enjoy this
season. Take a look at the brochure and hurry to save your seats for all of the shows you wish to attend. By becoming a Friend of the Whatley at one of the levels offered on p. 15 of the brochure, you will ensure that you have your re-served seats to each performance. Our Entertainment Series includes “Frankie Avalon, The Hit Men (former stars of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons) in a Holiday show, Carpe Diem String Quartet and the musical “Always…Patsy Cline.”
As always, we are offering special events throughout the season. If you join as a Friend of the Whatley, you will get first choice of seats for the special events. We are also privileged to present our own Dr. Ron Clinton in a piano recital. Doug Hoppock and Theatre Northeast will present outstanding theatre productions and Dr. Kim Wommack has organized the quality art exhibits you enjoy in the Whatley foyer.
Thank you for your support of the Whatley Center! Come and enjoy the changes we have made to the facility with the help of you who have given to the Campaign for the Whatley. It is not too late to make a contribution to help us finish our goals. We can always add a name to a seat if you wish to name one in honor or memory of someone. This is YOUR center, please come and be a part of it.
Sincerely,
Carolyn FranksDirector, Whatley Center

His hits which are too numerous to mention include the #1 hits “Why” and “Venus.” He has appeared in over 20 films and sang “Beauty School Dropout” in the movie pro-duction of the hit Broadway musical “Grease.” Don’t miss this chance to hear this music legend!
