• The fourth season of Rockland Boulders
baseball was a historic one for the franchise bothon the field and in the stands. During the 2014campaign, Rockland welcomed their 500,000thfan to Provident Bank Park as more than 175,000folks piled into the stadium for various events. The Boulders led the league in overall attendance(159,739) and average attendance (3,182 pergame) for the third straight season.
On the field, Rockland earned a franchise best56 wins during the regular season, finishing witha record of 56-40 and capturing their first everleague pennant. The momentum only increasedinto September as the Boulders rolled to their firstCan-Am League postseason title, defeating theNew Jersey Jackals in the Championship Series in

Manager Jamie Keefe was alsonamed the Can-Am Manager of the Year, the sec-ond time he has earned that honor in his career.
The success continued away from ProvidentBank Park as three different Boulders had theircontracts purchased by Major League organiza-tions in 2014. Infielder Steve Nyisztor was signedby the Arizona Diamondbacks and assigned toSingle-A Hillsboro where he helped the Hops winthe Northwest League Championship.
