High velocity gas flow intense noise
Impinging intense noise results in random skin vibra7on, re-‐radiated internally as intense interior noise and results in intense random vibra7on responses, especially of thin sec7ons such as wiring boards.
Our first serious recogni7on of random vibra7on as an engineering problem was in the early 1950s, when many rockets exploded at igni7on or exploded or went out of control during liToff.
