Some of which include: All meal purchases are tax-free. This will help your student save 13% on all campus meal purchases. Merchants located in the main cafeteria (H-Wing Marketplace) are offering an additional 5% off to Meal Plan users, which results into a total savings of 18% only for Meal Plan users! WHAT IS TCARD+?

TCard+ is the University’s very own payment service. Each student has or will soon receive a TCard - their official University of Toronto ID card. With TCard+, students have two accounts on their TCard: Meal Plan and TBucks.

Meal Plans are designed for meal purchases only and can only be used at the Campus that the student is enrolled in. At UTSC, when students use their Meal Plan funds to purchase a meal, they will save up to 18% on qualifying meal purchases.

TBucks are flexible dollars that can be used on the St. George and Scarborough campuses to pay for food, printing, copying, purchases at the U of T Bookstore, vending and much more! At the Scarborough campus, TBucks can also be used to pay for laundry and department purchases. All of our Meal Plan packages include some TBucks to help your student get started.

Once funds are loaded up to your student’s accounts, students simply swipe/tap their TCard at participating merchants and departments to purchase goods or services. More information about TCard+ can be found by visiting tcardplus.utoronto.ca. Students can also use the website to load additional funds, check transaction history, report a lost or stolen card (funds are safe once card is frozen).
