Dr Ronan Perry is the President of the Orthodontic Society of Ireland 2018-2020. Dr Perry provides comprehensive smile solutions for all ages, both adults and teenagers alike.

Dr Perry graduated with honours from the Dental School at Trinity College Dublin in 1998 and worked as a primary care dentist in Dublin before moving to the UK,

to work in one of the UK’s leading teaching hospitals.

In 2000, he was awarded the Membership of the Faculty of Dentistry from the RCSI and then completed a three-year, full time Masters in the Speciality of Orthodontics in 2005. In addition, he was awarded a Masters in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 2005.

In 2014, he obtained an MSc in Lingual Orthodontics at the University of Hannover Medical School in Germany.

Dr Perry is a Platinum Elite Invisalign Provider and the number one specialist provider of Invisalign in Dublin City Centre.

Dr Perry maintains private practices in both Dublin and Kildare. In his free-time, he enjoys keeping fit and is a keen triathlete.

What are your Treatment Options?

We provide a range of braces that are virtually invisible so that no one will know that you are having treatment.

Traditional Metal Braces These have progressed significantly since the early days and are now much lighter than before. They are made from a high-grade stainless steel and have metal brackets that are attached to each tooth using a type of cement.

The brackets are linked to each other with a thin archwire which puts pressure on the teeth and guides them slowly into the correct position.

Ceramic Braces Ceramic Braces work in the same way as traditional braces, but the brackets are made from a clear, transparent ceramic material.

The braces are less visible to others, which makes them a popular choice for adults who need orthodontic treatment.

Invisalign The Invisalign system uses a series of removable and clear aligners that are custom moulded to fit you.

The virtually invisible aligners gradually reposition your teeth into their correct position. You wear a new set of aligners for 2 weeks at a time until your treatment is complete.

Lingual Braces Lingual Braces are completely invisible and the only one who knows that you are having orthodontic treatment is you.

These braces are made of metal but are fitted on the back of your teeth instead of the front.

They are 100% customised to follow the contours of your teeth for comfort and performance.

What to Expect - Your Journey with Us

At your first appointment, you will meet our Treatment Co-ordinator (TCO) who is there to get to know your expectations and listen to your requirements. Your TCO will introduce you to Dr. Ronan Perry who will tailor a treatment plan specifically for you.

Within 48 hours of your initial consultation we will send your individualised treatment plan to study in the comfort of your home. Your TCO is at hand to answer any further questions you may have and will contact you over the coming days at a time best suited to you.

When you are ready to commence treatment, we will arrange a second appointment where we may take any required clinical recordings such as X-rays, photographs or mouldings of your teeth. We will then begin your treatment, bringing you closer to your desired smile.

I had a big problem at the front of my mouth as there were 3 teeth in the place where the two front teeth should have been. This made me very very self-conscience and I didn’t like to smile or laugh so it wasn’t good for my self-esteem and personal happiness.

When Dr Perry told me that it would take 2 years and that I would have a nice smile at the end of that time I was shocked. I assumed I wouldn’t ever have a nice smile and was only looking for an improvement on my current situation. I also needed a lot of other work and because the team were both kind and extremely good at their job, it was very soon any fears I had left about going to the dentist were gone.
