or as my wife says, my other lover….
The iHistory blog is a way of documenting the doubtful progress of this project. What is in it?
• Podcasts
• Reflections on the project
• Student contributions
• Photos/videos
• Colleagues interaction
Although it takes time and energy to maintain, the blog keeps everything in one place, and makes it accessible to anyone with internet access.
Let’s go on a tour!
Some short movies:1. Aural Learning Excerpt2. Mp3s & Learning Excerpt
What did the students think?Quotes from their blogged comments:“I do think it’s good to use mp3s because you can listen individually
without distraction…”David
“…it is good because a teacher may tell you the information earlier but then when you are doing the work for it you can go back and check the information again”
Laura
“The mp3 were easy to operate and you got most of the information you needed”
Daniel
“I enjoy learning in this way I find it a lot easier to take things in and remember them…”
Brianna
“…it is a modern way of learning and should be used more frequently in other classes .”
