Education is the process of receiving or giving systematic instruction, especially at a school or university.

Education is the act or process of imparting or acquiring general knowledge, developing the powers of reasoning and judgment, and preparing oneself or others intellectually for mature life.

Research is the systematic investigation into and study of materials and sources in order to establish facts and reach new conclusions.

Research is a systematic inquiry that investigates hypotheses, suggests new interpretations of data or texts, and poses new questions for future research to explore.

1. Educational research refers to a variety of methods, in which individuals evaluate different aspects of education including: "student learning, teaching methods, teacher training, and classroom dynamics".

2. Mouly ―Educational Research is the systematic application of scientific method for solving for solving educational problem.

3. Travers ―Educational Research is the activity for developing science of behaviour in educational situations. It allows the educator to achieve his goals effectively.

4. Whitney ―Educational Research aims at finding out solution of educational problems by using scientific philosophical method.
