What is Dye Sublimation Technology?
Mitsubishi Electric has been continually developing dye sublimation technology in its range ofdigital photo printers for many years.
Dye sublimation is different from inkjet printing where individual dots are laid on the paper tocreate the end picture. Dye sublimation uses a heat process with a transparent film that hascyan, magenta and yellow panels that represent the three basic colours used in printing. Asthe print head heats up and passes over the film, the coloured dyes are fused onto the glossysurface of the paper, after three passes through the printer a final laminate top cover isapplied that ensures the final photo is produced completely touch dry.
Quick and easy to operate dye sublimation printers produce high quality, detailed photo's thatare durable and fade resistant.

With Mitsubishi's Click micro lab solutions photographers can process photo's digitally, offerenlargements, edit, restore and copy to copy. An expandable solution that allows theconnection of additional printers and third party film and flatbed scanners. Wi-Fi can also be setup allowing photographers to shoot pictures that are then instantly sent through to the Click forprinting without the need for a tethered USB cable, this is perfect for social photographers.The Click IT5000 has the solution to send ID photos over the web.
Mitsubishi's stand alone printers can be connected to either a laptop, PC or Mac andtransported to various social events. The printers are very durable in design and have a fastdownload enabling customers to be able to walk away with their photographs in an instant!
