ASHTANGA YOGA-

• According to Sage Patanjali, this yoga is the process of exploring one's own mind and making it experience the higher consciousness. According to him, it is the individual effort put forth to understand own personality and individuality. Through this process, one has to face and understand one's own nature, character, habits, and becomes aware of the own limitations of the body. This happens in the first two limbs. Body conditions are improved and energized through the next two. After the fourth stage, one is ready to observe the mind and find the limitations and qualities of the mind. Through the next four processes, one experiences the divinity inside by channelizing the thoughts and emotions. From other point of view, it helps to improve the environment about you by looking at the situations in the right perspective and dealing with the situations with right attitude. Once you experience the consciousness, which is beyond the body and the mind, you become one with the nature and existence. Altogether, it is the overall development of the individual in the journey of life.
